Already have ressies for a weeks worth of dinners (June). We are going on the DP and I have chosen all places I have never been. Since I have time to change any input from those who have experience at:

The Coral Reef
Rose and Crown
LeCellier
Whispering Canyon
Chef Mickeys
Ohana

Did I make good choices? Or should I reconsider. Are these a good value on the DP?

I have a few reviews for some ADRs that you've chosen.

Coral Reef Cafe - The place is usually a hit or miss for me. GREAT view however I find the restaurant to be loud and the servers are a bit pushy with their recommendations. The first time I went they had these amazing crab cakes and wanted them again so I made ADRs and they didn't have it. I asked the server for a recommendation and he recommended some kind of Mahi Mahi dish and it wasn't so great...kinda made me gag. I asked him to send it back and I'll take the salmon instead and he wouldn't take it back. Be careful there!

Rose and Crown - Excellent food and service. Love their fish and chips and steaks!

Le Cellier - This is one of our must-eat-at-spots when we visit WDW. Amazing food and service. LOVE their mushroom filet and mushroom risotto. Their pretzel bread and cheddar cheese soup is to die for!

Ohana - I had my rehearsal dinner there for the wedding and they guy that was standing at the booth outside where we put our names in made me cry due to a misunderstanding. Not to mention we got seated at a whole hour after our ADR time. Once we got seated things were ok. Excellent food and ok service.

The others I have never been so I don't have any reviews on those. Good luck!

The Coral Reef - Never tried it but on our list for this year.
Rose and Crown - Another we haven't tried.
LeCellier - We always eat here. If you have ADR's keep them. We love the selection. Even the kids love this one.
Whispering Canyon - Fun place to eat, we liked the convenience, we were stay at WL and the Skillet was filling but just ok. We may book here again this year since we are staying again at WL
Chef Mickeys - We love the character interaction. The food was surprisingly good for us this time. We love taking the monorail in and checking out the CR. CM gives us our Mickey fix early in the trip.
Ohana - My Families favorite place to eat. We love this place. Some think the food is just ok but we love, love, love Ohana. Comfortable, plenty of food, great view, fun for everyone and the food, to us, is great.

Overall, you picked places my Dfamily and I love and revisit. I would keep them the way they are with maybe a suggestion to try Boma. We would choose that over Rose and Crown but that's just us. Enjoy :thumbsup2

We've tried them all except Coral Reef, which we are trying this next trip.

Out of the others, the only one we didn't really care for was WCC. It gets very mixed reviews, though, so I'd still recommend trying it for yourself. We all ordered the skillet, which I regret. Nothing on there was particularly good, and I think there were other menu items that might have been better.

The last time we dined at Chef Mickey's, the food was pretty bad, but we thought it was really good the other times (surprisingly good for a buffet), but because the atmosphere cannot be beat, we are willing to give it another try! We like to start there our first night to kick off the celebration! Ask for a table in the main dining room. There are a few rooms that are off to the sides, and they seem a little removed from the action; we didn't have the best character interaction when we were seated in those side rooms. We LOVE 'Ohana and really, really enjoyed Rose and Crown. LeCellier, yummy, especially the mushroom filet!

I would say you made great choices and yes, all are a good value on the dining plan!

The Coral Reef
Rose and Crown We really enjoyed our meal here, and were fortunate enough to get outside seating and see Illuminations
LeCellier Always have had a good experience here, love the cheese soup and pretzel bread!
Whispering Canyon I enjoy just the atmosphere of being at the WL, and though it's not great food, it's good and the antics are a lot of fun.
Chef MickeysFine if you 're going for the characters and atmostphere, but I don't personally think the food is very good.
OhanaWe're in the minority in not being crazy about 'Ohana. The apps were good and so was dessert, but I thought the meats were dry. I doubt we'll go back.

We don't usually do DDP, but I would think you're okay on value there. Have fun!

We have eaten at a few of your choices.

Whispering Canyon - this is DH's favorite place at WDW. He loves the skillet and the antics the servers engage in. I love their ribeye steak, which is so tender and tasty. It ranks as one of the best even outside DW.

Ohana - we love this place too, but this last time had a horribly slow server not to mention so loud we couldn't talk to each other even though we were sitting next to each other. The food is fantastic, best dessert on property as far as I am concerned. However I do recommend to ask for your steak options to be med rare. Sometimes they bring out well as to it is sitting on the skewers to long. Definitely try all 3 sauces on the wings as well as the meats. A tip is to go early in the evening to avoid the slowness and noise levels.

LeCellier - LOVE this place. We have only eaten there once as you know it is hard to get into. DH had the strip and was very good. I had prime rib, even though everyone including the waitress tried to stop me and it was FANTASTIC. Very tender and mellow. Not in your face with spice or seasoning. I highly recommend it. I subbed the cream cheese mashed and that was great as well.

Chef Mickey's - this is a darling little buffet. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal there. Great strip loin and mashed potatoes. The character interaction was goood as well.

I wouldn't change any of these. All are very good choices. Study the menus before you go to really figure out what you want, and have a back up. It is easy to sway while down there, it is so overwhelming. Have a good trip and fine eating! :)

The Coral Reef - Great atmosphere and really good desserts, the rest of the food is just average.
Rose and Crown - I like it. Nothing fancy, but the food is good.
LeCellier - Good food, but it is overrated. Is a good value on the DDP though.
Whispering Canyon - Never been.
Chef Mickeys - Dinner is better then breakfast, good character interaction, and I have no complaints about the food or the service.
Ohana - Food is hit or miss, but is generally good, and lots of it.

LeCellier - ate there on free dining last September and we loved it. Not one complaint (now that is a miracle in it's own with two teenagers). Loved it so much that I am paying OOP for our meal there in April.

O'Hana - very disorganized. We only ate the potstickers, wings, noodles, and broccoli. Everything else (yes even including the dessert was inedible). We hit a very bad night. It was the one and only time my children heard the words, "no you do not have to eat your dinner, I will take you somewhere else after we have finished".

Chef Mickey's - have done breakfast and dinner. It is the experience that is not to be missed, the food is average. Definetely not bad, just average, buffet fare.
