Dining Ideas for a Picky Dad

Let me start out by saying my Dad is great. He is having us all down for a week his treat at the Vistana Villages in 10 days . My husband and I would like to treat the whole fam for dinner one night (9 total) and would love him to have a great experience.

Here's the thing he loves expensive meals and going out but only if he is paying. He hates it when we spend money. So anytime we go out he gets spagetti or the cheapest item on the menu. It drives me crazy.

So my question is I'm looking for a great place, great food, decent prices so he will enjoy himself.

I was thinking maybe downtown Disney or the Boardwalk. Anywhere in Orlando would be good because we have our own transportation.

Any suggetions would be great. Thanks.

Why not go to a buffet or a fixed price meal like 'Ohanas so that the price is out of his control?? He can just eat what he wants!!!

Ohana means family. That's where I would take him and, as others said, it's one fixed price so he can't order the least expensive thing. Have the waitress take away the menus so he won't even see the price.
