I will try and write some reviews on our recent dining experiences at WDW. We had the free QS and I paid to upgrade to the Reg DDP. Trip was me (DM) and my DD17- we stayed at POP
MM F pkg for 6 pm- had no wait ( I was worried about this based on previous posts). This was the place that we had received the worst service of our trip. The steak however, was great!!!
Rose and Crown- 7:40 to watch Illuminations- service was great, food was very good ( my daughter had the shepherds pie and I had the Steak and Fish ), we even splurged and tried the Scottish egg which we both enjoyed, however...... they had NO Stickey Toffee pudding. I can't believe it was gone already ( or they didnt prepare enough). This was still a huge disappointment
Le Cellier- lunch- service was great, food was very good ( I had steak and my DD had the burger). We had the spicey sausage app which we enjoyed and ordered a side of the soup. We really didnt like the soup, we thought the beer taste overpowered the cheese taste. Loved the pretzel bread
Boma- Really enjoyed this buffet, tried new things.... glad we went
Ragland Road.... food was okay, Bread Pudding, the best ever
Now for the unbelievable......
It really does not make me happy at all to share this with you. I have contacted Disney and am awaiting their response. Please be very aware of the chicken that you are served
We had dinner on Ohana and were served Raw, Pink and squishy in the middle chicken. This was on Monday evening.
Friday evening we were at Kona and my daughter ordered coconut chicken and guess what ( on no, not again.....) Raw, Pink and squishy in the middle chicken !!!!!
I have never, ever been served raw chicken and here we are at Poly at two different restaurants and have this happen within a 5 day period!!!!
This was brought to the attention of ( and shown to ) the servers and management. It was handled much better at Kona than at Ohana. This is a very serious issue and people can get extremely sick ( fortunately, we did not ). I know at Ohana the two tables surrounding us complained after I did as well.
So that's it in a nutshell, please cut into the middle of you chicken before you eat it just to check.

Found ya!

Sounds like y'all had some good & bad moments.

The chicken.....yikes! :crazy2: I'll be interested to see what Disney says in their response to you. That is very dangerous.

I'll be watching our chicken very closely this fall!
