Dining for 9

We are traveling as a group of 9 - one family of 5 and one of 4. I've been looking at dining reservations and was able to get Goofy's Kitchen for 9, but other places it seems difficult. I'm thinking we might just want to reserve a table for 5 and one for 4 at the same time. It wouldn't be critical for the tables to be near each other - we can split up. Will I be able to hold two dining reservations for at the same time? I've been making all the reservations on my Disneyland account. I have all 9 of our park tickets linked in my app. With Disney World I've done this in the past, but that works differently with MDE I think as I have my whole travel party linked (not just tickets) - I would make reservations and just put a different person from my travel party as the primary. Can I do this with the Disneyland stuff? Seems like the travel party doesn't link the same.

We did this in April. Someone else will need to make an account to get two reservations at the same time. For instance, I made one dining reservation for 5 on my account for 5:30. Then my husband created an account, and made another reservation for 4 for the same restaurant at 5:30.

Each restaurant would tell me something different about combining the tables when we checked in. In the end, they all combined us into one table. We ate at Carthay and Lamplight lounge.

It was super stressful to get reservations at the same time (or within ten minutes of each other) for those locations. I wish they would make it easier for larger parties!! Good luck!!

No, for two reservations at overlapping times you will need a second Disneyland account.

We had a party of 12 at goofys. We booked online or over the phone I can’t Recall if we booked online or over the phone but we did cause to tell them the table should be together. It was not an issue when we arrived. I would say call them first or book 2 reservations and call for them to make notes on them

Can you call now for dining? I thought they got rid of being able to call….

Oh yea not sure in that. Sorry my experience is pre covid. Are you by any chance staying on-site? If so I would call and see if they can help.
