Dining dress code questions

As far as I know - it'll say on the Navigator "Dress Up Night". But the 3rd night is Pirate Night, so I don't think they've changed anything.

How exactly "dressy" is dress up night? Not as dressy as formal night is it?

I always wear a nice sundress or some capri's and a nice top. We are actually one of those weird families that have matching outfits for dress up night as well. DH wears khaki's. All I can say now since my last cruise in Sept. is please, please, please whatever you do don't come to dinner in jeans below your bottom and a white tank undershirt (know by some as wife beaters but I personally don't like that term). And no I'm not making it up...seen that in Animators P. one night and my mouth hit the floor!
