Dining Credits on room key question

Hi everyone. We have a large group planning Disney together and I was wondering about our dining credits. If, for an example, Mom and Dad split up with kids (boys don't want to do Princess stuff!!!) are everyones credits on each admission pass/room key card? Or if we split up by age groups and end up taking kids with us that don't go with our family (that our not on our "keys" )can we still use dining credits for our snacks/ counter service meal? How can we keep it straight? Any help would be appreciated!

All room keys have the ability to use credits, unless you set them up otherwise. Splitting up would be no problem, this is common.

The official rule about having other kids with you who are not on your reservation, is that they would not be able to use the dining / snack credits on your card. Only those on your reservation are allowed to use the credits.

The easiest way to keep each families credits straight is to only use the credits for your own family. Kids can have room keys and use their credits themselves. If you're worried about young children with the keys, give it to the adult they'll be with.

Each room key for your room will have access to the credits. Dad can get a burger at Cosmic Rays in MK while Mom & DD are at Norway's Princess lunch and DS can get a drink & popcorn at Typhoon Lagoon all at the same time. In this example, 2TS credits would be used, 1 CS and 2 snack credits. Each receipt will show the remaining credits available at the time printed. Make sure everyone keeps their receipts so they can be checked at night. You can also get a printout at the Front Desk of your resort.
