Dining Credits & Child's MBs

We are taking advantage of booking the DXDP for one room to pool credits to use with family in a second room at BLT. Will we be able to use one of the kids MBs under the meal plan or must they be paid for with an adult MB. I'm asking in case our group of 12 splits up.

Just make sure your kids know ur PIN. During our stay the past week, I let my kids do the scan on their MB and I would punch in the PIN.

Does this have to be done with a magic band from the room that has the dining plan or if we are linked can someone from the other room use their magic band if they know the PIN number?

It would need to be done with a magic band for someone in the room that has the dining plan.

You can use anybody's magic band from the room with the dining plan, but whoever is using the band has to know the PIN number for that room.

I would actually encourage doing this when possible anyway, under the assumption that the child's band is not authorized for room charging - that way, you're sure the restaurant is using dining credits rather than charging the room.
