Dining Credits and Magic Band Question

I have a reservation for Art of Animation in May. Two of us will be checking in and staying for 9 nights. There will be two additional people on the room reservation (for the whole time) but will only be staying in the hotel (and be in FL) for 5 of those nights. If I can add the regular dining plan (this is not a question about cost or if I can even add the plan...we will have to determine if it is worth it for us), my understanding is that we will receive a TS credit for each person in the room (we will pay for all 4 of us for all 9 nights). So we as a group would get 36 TS dining credits (4 people x 9 nights). My question is, are they allocated to each magic band or would the group be lumped together on the reservation? The reason I ask is, the two of us there for the longer period may want to try some TS that require 2 credits and use some of the TS credits that the other two people would not be using. This makes a difference in determining if the dining plan is cost efficient for us. I hope this makes sense!

They are pooled together as a rule, so anyone on that reservation can use them. I.E., if you want to do a 2TS meal after they leave, do so.

Keep an eye on your snacks too - we had four people in one room for 7 nights and we were shocked how few of our snack credits we used. That is alot, especially since your friends will only be there for 5 days. We took home a bunch of rice crispie treats for friends!

Thanks! That is what I was hoping the answer would be, but wanted to be sure...now I just need to figure out if it makes sense for us financially.
