Ok, I am finalizing our plans and assessing our ADRs and trying to decide if the mix seems right. It is me, DH, DD12, DD2. DD2 loves Mickey and Princesses. DD12's one dining request was Le Cellier. We are staying at CR. We have the DDxP. I have analyzed that until I'm blue in the face, and my DH wants to kill me, not for having the deluxe plan but for all of the over-analyzing!! :rotfl2: We are keeping it! Most days we have a breakfast or brunch and then a dinner. We have multiple 2 credit meals.

We have the following ADRs:

Character
-Chef Mickey's dinner
-Akershus Breakfast
-CRT dinner & breakfast
-1900 PF dinner
-'Ohana breakfast
-Tusker House lunch
-Crystal Palace brunch

Show
Mickey's Backyard BBQ

Non Character
-Mama Melrose
-Le Cellier Dinner

Signature
-California Grill (just me and DH)

Trying to decide if it is worth it to have the CRT breakfast and dinner, if we want to do 'Ohana breakfast (DD2 doesn't know who Lilo and Stitch are, but Mickey will be there and DD12 may enjoy seeing the Poly?), if we should do 1900 PF for dinner to have Cinderella or the breakfast for Pooh, maybe do WCC dinner vs. 1900 PF dinner? Would love to do 'Ohana dinner but can't get an ADR. Wouldn't mind one more WS meal in EP but only have one EP day. Would love any thoughts on the overall mix. Thanks!!

CRT breakfast and dinner seems overkill, especially with Akershus also planned! Seems like you've got a bit of overkill in MK area restaurants--I don't know your park schedule, but maybe you could work in another half day at Ep and get in a WS dinner somewhere else (on DxDP, Tutto Italia and Coral Reef are good choices). Or if you can be in the Epcot resort area for dinner another time, maybe substitute Yachtsman's Steakhouse for one of the CRTs?

I wouldn't recommend that many character meals. It seems that you are catering to your 2YO, what about your 12 YO? I definitely would not do CRT at both breakfast and dinner. I also wouldn't do both CRT and Akerhaus for the princesses, I think it is overkill. I would keep CRT and do a different TS on your Epcot day.
We loved Via Napoli in October. Also among our favorites are Teppan Edo - great food and a show as the chefs cook at your table, Rose & Crown Pub, but maybe not much to entertain your 2 YO. Biergarden has an "Ompah" band that plays and they invite the kids to the dance floor to dance. It is a German buffet, but there is something for everyone.
Mickey's Backyard Barbeque gets mixed reviews. It will most likely be fun for your 2 YO - do you think your 12 YO will still like it?
Good Luck

I have to agree with PP about doing CRT twice. I would cancel one of those for sure and I would not replace it with a character meal.

I love character meals because they are fun and provide great photo ops but the food isn't the best:sad2:

There are so many dining experiences that are unique to Disney that provide good food with a fun atmosphere.

Thanks everybody. Will cancel one of the CRT ADRs and 1900 PF dinner to not have princess dining overload. I'm struggling because we are only in EP one day w/o a hopper and have the Le Cellier dinner that night (DD12's request). What are non EP suggestions? Is Boardwalk cool? What are DTD options on the DDP? Cape May seafood buffet? Any of the signatures at GF? Thanks for all of the thoughts.

I would probably cancel BOTH CRTs and keep the Akershus and 1900 PF. 1900 PF was a lot of fun for everyone in our group and we had 6 adults. I can't speak for Akershus yet but if you keep 1900 then you should catch the rest of the princesses at Akershus and save some of your credits. It just seems crazy to me to spend 2 credits, especially 2x.

We also really liked WCC - it was fun too. I'm sure your 12 yo would like it over so many character meals. 50s PTC can be a good time too for older kids. My sister was 11 at the time we ate there and she had a blast with the waitress giving her heck over not washing her hands and then tattling later on me. It was so funny!

I know you said you'd like one more WS meal but only have one Epcot day. So if that's the way it is for sure and given that it looks like you have planned 2 MK days (based on your ADRs) I recommend Kona Cafe for dinner. Best meal we had on our last trip!

As for DTD, definitely go to WP Express. It's a quick service meal but IMO should be a TS b/c it's that good! I can't remember what TS at DTD is on DDP, if any. I want to say Raglan Road - many DIS'ers have recommended it here, saying the food is good and it's fun.

Thanks! CRT's a must because my 12 yo is excited about it, and my 2 yo will be mesmerized by eating in the castle. I hadn't thought about Kona. We did also love Raglan Road and that would get us to DTD. Anyone have experience with the Cape May seafood buffet at BC? Thinking 12 yo may also like that. Maybe I will see what she thinks btwn WCC, Kona, Raglan Road, Cape May seafood buffet. Any other good thoughts that aren't in a park? Thanks!
