Dining Attaire

We are doing a four day cruise and was wonder what we should wear for dinner. My boys have dress shirts and polos. Can they wear nice dress shorts with them?

If you do a search you'll find a number of threads on this topic, and you'll also find a wide variety of opinions on what is "acceptable" attire for the dining rooms. But bottom line is yes, they may wear dress shorts, and they will not be the least bit out of place, especially on the Wonder.

Oh, Fort Belvoir! Been there! Went to the high school that the Belvoir kids go to.

For the kids, yes, you will see them in dress shorts. Disney is a lot more casual than many cruise lines, They request no jeans, shorts, tank tops or swim wear in the restaurants, but there are a lot of boys in nice shorts and they will not turn you away.

If you look at the DCL Sticky at the top of the board, you will see mention of dress codes. Again, Disney is more relaxed. You may have a semi formal or dress up night and pants, like khakis, would be a better look, but some kids don't even eat with the grown ups, they stay in the clubs.

When I was on the Wonder, there was NO mention of no jeans or shorts in the dining room. The only suggestions was no tank tops and no swimwear.
