so...tomorrow is the 180 day mark to make my reservation at ltt for a halloween party on oct 22. If I call first thing in the morning...will I be able to get a reservation for dinner that evening? We haven't bought our tickets for the party yet...we were gonna wait? what is the perfect time?

In my opinion the best time is 4:05 pm as you can get into the park at 4 pm. Then you will not miss any of the party. We spend the day at the resort, grabbed a light lunch, and then went over for 3:30 or so. There were MANY people waiting to get in at that time. It would be a a waste to use a day in another park we felt.

I think it depends on how late you want to stay at the party. DH and I had LTT ressies on the night of MVMCP at 6:30. We were planning on staying later into the night, so missing the early stuff wasn't a big deal for us. It ended up working perfectly because there was a torrential downpour right at the start of the party. I mean, nothing was happening, people were crammed under any roof they could find, etc. We ate a leisurely dinner and when we were done the rain had stopped and the party was in full swing.

If you have little ones who want to see the early stuff, I would agree with the PP who said 4:05.

We just hit our 180 day mark today and called to set up an ADR for LTT on the 23rd (MNSSHP) the latest time we could get was 4:15 because spots are going quick. If I were you I'd call first thing in the morning to set up your ADR. I don't think tickets for MNSSHP go on sale for a few more weeks and from what I've read (mainly on here) is that LTT spots fill up super quick.

Good luck!

You were allowed to book already for the 23rd because you're staying onsite & were allowed to count 180 days from your checkin date?

unfortunately we're staying offsite...so I think I have to wait until tomorrow morning to call. right? grrrrrrr.....

THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH!! I'll try to get as early as I can!! We do have little ones.

We also had little ones (5,4,2) so the early time worked for us. We knew we would never make the late parade...

I prefer eating around 5:00p myself.

I enjoy CP and Tony's (we didn't like the food at LTT and the Castle is too expensive).

Have fun!

We have a 5:30 ADR got LTT for Oct.4. I called a few weeks ago to book it. I like to be finished eating and ready to go when the party starts and that time gets us out right at 7pm or a little before.

We ate at 4:30 last year, and got a 4:15 ADR for this year. It worked out perfectly last year. We ate, and then changed and did EVERYTHING in Fantasyland and didn't wait more than 10 minutes for anything. It was great. Then we headed out toward Main Street to check out all the other stuff. With little ones, my vote is as close to 4pm as you can get.

We booked 4:20. We walk alittle slower so wanted to give myself time to get down Main Street w/out missing check in for dinner. We don't want to miss any party time :)

We did a 5:30 at CP 2 years ago and it worked out perfect. We walked out just as they were allowing you to go into tomorrowland.

I made reservation yesterday for Oct 23rd LTT at 5:30. We have a party of 6 and could not get a ressie for 1 table together so we are doing 2 tables. If we wanted 1 table for our party of 6 the only time was 4:20.

According to the Disney website the park hours for Oct 22nd are 9-9 p.m. with extra magic hours. Just wondering if they will have MNSSHP on the 22nd.

October 2007

Evening Extra Magic Hours
Magic Kingdom® Park - October 1, 7, 15, 22, 29
Epcot® - October 5, 12, 19, 26
Disney-MGM Studios - October 8, 14, 21, 28
Disney's Animal Kingdom® Theme Park - October 3, 10, 17, 24, 31

Good luck tomorrow.

we ate at ltt last september before the halloween party. If I can remember right my dinner ressie was for 6:15pm, plenty of time...

We like to eat around 5:30. This year we have a 5:25 ADR for CP. We'll get there at 4:00 roam around for an hour and a half and then eat. We usually finish up just as the party is about to start. Last year before MVMCP we were one of the last tables at CP. All of the character were out playing with the kids and taking pictures it was really cute.

ETA
wink is correct, the dates I've seen for that week are 21,23, 25 and 26

My guess - No Oct 22 will not be a party night.

Based on Sept/Oct hours from Disney's website, these will probably be the dates since the park closes at 7:00p all these nights:

September 14, 21, 28, 30
October 4, 5, 8, 11, 12, 14, 16, 18, 21, 23, 25, 26, 28, 30, 31

Of course, they could change when Disney actually releases the dates.

thanks so much for the correction guys. I was going by this page.

I'll pick another night that week....any of those dates will be fine. I'll get an early dining reservation. YOU GUYS ARE THE BEST!! THANK YOU!!!!!

I believe they hold some of the resies after 4:30 for when they release the MNSSHP tix. It would only make sense otherwise everyone who doesn't plan on going would get ressies and then find out they can't make them because they don't have tickets. HTH

You don't have to leave the park as long as you have your ticket so this year we may just eat at a counter service and enjoy some rides before the party!!!

Hey,
Don't know if you made your ressie yet but when I called this morning the CM said that October 23rd was billed as "a hard ticket event" aka MNSSHP and that the tickets would be going on sale JUNE 1st!

Good Luck!!!
