Does anyone know the price of the dinner buffet right in the hotel? we were going to bring our own food but thought 1 night we would go for dinner. what is the adult and Child prices here? I don't seem them listed

We were there a few weeks ago and the adult price was $21.99. Kids were $7.99. It was a decent buffet but nothing to rave about considering the price. I would recommend bringing your own food or getting a pizza from down the street of GWL. Have fun!!!!!

Far as the buffet price goes, keep in mind that dining EVERYWHERE in Niagara Falls is more expensive than in non-tourist locations. We had a burgers and fries meal two summers ago at the Perkins near the Falls, and it cost us $100 :scared1: with taxes and tip for 2 adults and 2 12-year-olds. Makes the all-you-can-eat option at the Lodge, complete with a wonderful dessert selection and make-your-own sundae bar, look pretty good in comparison.

Another thing to check out is the meal plan that has been reported about several times on Tripadvisor. Apparently they are offering it to you on check in (it has been noted that its $120 for a family of 4) and it includes the breakfast buffet, lunch at Pizza Hut Express or the Bear Claw Cafe, and the dinner buffet for each person. I would call the Lodge and ask them about it, because that would certainly be the better deal! We did the inclusive package this past summer and LOVED it (the inclusive was all your meals plus a few extras like golf and arcade tokens). Made for a super easy and relaxing vacation!

If you choose to order pizza, I highly recommend Frank's Pizza. Absolutely delicious and totally affordable.

Yep you can buy the meal plan at check-in. Adults are $45 and Kids are $25. That is for the buffet breakfast and dinner and a voucher for personal pizza or a sandwich combo at lunch time.

Everything is expensive in NF, Denny's is double the price of heading across the border for some reason.

we just returned for 1 night stay and got the dinning "deal" which does not seem to be a deal? It was $140 for 2 adults 2 kid, Buffet Breakfast and Dinner, and 1 Pizza hut lunch..
so when i priced it out-Breakfast adults wa $12.99, dinner $21.99, and pizza $6.00 total $41 but adult price was $45 ? How did this benefit us?

When I received my confirmation from GWL there was a coupon for a child eating free with a paid adult.

i got that couple too but it was 1 child for dinner. so the savings was $6.99 but we went for the full package which i think did not save us at all.

really it sounded good until you did the math! not much of a deal!!!:confused3

we are going tomorrow for a couple of nights and was going to do the "dining deal" but not anymore!

We just got back from GWL yesterday and bought the dinning plan as well. $45+tax/adult & $25+tax/child (12 & under). I think to be honest the only way it saves you money is that your drink is included in the package, where as if you were to purchase your meal seperately the cost of a drink is on top of the meal price. A personal pizza with a drink was just over $10 for the combo + tax. But, when all is said and done not such a great deal.

Personally, I would never pay the $21.99 again for the dinner buffet. Wasn't very impressed with it at all. :( Have to say thanks tho for the mention of Franks Pizzaria....now that was good!!!

Good to know the "deal" isn't much of a deal. We're going to take food with us & do Frank's pizza at night. My son barely eats so to pay that much for a 3 year old would be worthless.
