Hi

We're staying overnight at Gatwick airport - expect to arrive from Glasgow at about 6.30pm. Thought we would use the BA twilight check in, then check out our hotel the Hilton and then maybe come back to the airport for something to eat..... :confused3

Can anyone reccommend a nice kid friendly place for dinner with table service. The kids are :earsgirl: (5) and :earsboy: (almost 7)

Thanks

We like Frankie & Benny's. Brilliant kids menu and goodie bag (which includes puzzles, colouring, multi coloured pencils and more). Very comprehensive adult menu (and full bar) as well.

The prices are not "stacked" for airport prices, either, as the meals cost the same as our one in town. Would HIGHLY recommend this for a "night before travel" meal!!

another vote for frankies and benny's :) my children are similar in age to yours and they love it

We like Pizza Express. It's become a tradition for us to head over there after checking-in to The Hilton! Great food, wine and service :flower:

:wizard:

Frankie and Bennys for me also. It's always busy though and they have packed in as many tables as humanly possible.

Frankie & Benny's - though I have to say we prefer our local one - better choice and ambience :)

Last couple of trips we've had a McDs

Might try a Frankie and Bennys in December though :)

We've obviously missed the Pizza Express - would choose that over Frankie & Benny's anytime. Where is it?

We were at Frankie and Bennys last year in November and the meal was awful! It was very busy and the food was cold Ive had better in Tescos caff. We have eaten in the Hilton grill room. Reasonably priced and lots of choice.

I've never been to a Frankie and Bennys. Sounds good though except the last couple of posts :confused3

The Hilton Grill mind you sounds very convenient. But I wonder whether its Kid friendly enough.

Mmmmm - I guess, this is a decision for the day. :wave2:

It's on the upper level of the South Terminal "village". It's right around the corner from the big Costa Coffee. :flower:

We've alternated for dinner and breakfast over the last few trips between Frankie and Benny's and Pizza Express. Surprisingly Pizze Express did a brilliant cooked breakfast for Darryl :flower:
