Dining ADRs with 2 hotel reservations

We have a package reservation 9/30 to 10/14 and then a room only 10/14 and 15. Now we had booked our ADRs plus 10 and then been going in every morning to book the next days. But today it wouldn't let us book 10/15. I assume it's looking at our first checkout date, is there a way to link them so it will look at our last check out day? Are we stuck waiting to book our last 2 ADRs based on the new check in date of the room only?

Disney considers them to be 2 separate reservations so you will have to wait until it is 180 days before the check in date for your second reservation.

That is really going to mess up my plans as I have H&V Playhouse Breakfast that day for DD's birthday so I hope it won't be all booked.
