I never had one. I remember my friend getting one for her birthday and we spent most of that afternoon making stuff. I had a Pizza Hut easy bake oven. It made little pizzas. Lots of fun.

Oh my gosh, that was one of the biggest frustrations of being a parent of daughters - where to find those damn clear lightbulbs!!!

We made our share of gooey messes but usually did it once or twice per easy bake oven and then moved on to the real thing. Both of my girls had their own (they were 5 years apart so I'm sure I gave the first one away well before the younger could have used it!)

*Sigh* - I always wanted one - never got one ... I've gotten one for our little girl and bake with her, but it's just not the same ...

Bought DD one and she never had any notion of playing with it since she baked with me with the "big" oven. So here it sits in it's box with all sorts of packages of goodies to be made. Guess I will one day donate it to Good Will once I did it out from the back of the closet.

I had one, but it didn't look like the one pictured with the article. It was yellow.
