Diney Pins and Airports...Ok???

Has anyone worn their lanyards w/disney pins thru airport security?
will TSA take em away or allow them in carry-on or on-our person?

The kids haven't worn their lanyards but I always pack them in their carry-ons and have never had a problem.

good news! kids will have their bkpcks for carry=on & we can pack em in there
i hate to pack them in check bags & not available for our whole 1st day!

We always have them in backpacks/carry ons both coming and going. If you wear it, you will have to put it in the bucket to get thru the metal detector.

thanks bunches. had no idea if security would consider the little pins a black-listed weapon. i think at one point they even stopped nail clippers, didn't they?
anyway, just didn't want their little pins to be CONFISCATED!!!

I was standing in line at the Magic Express when I noticed I hadn't taken it off. So I got all the way to FL and nobody noticed. So much for the scans in Philly.

A great tip I got of the Disboards is to put the pins in a big baggie. That way you don't have to worry about any of them falling off the lanayard and getting lost. Plus it makes it easier for the TSA agent to take a look if they want to.
