Dine with an Animal Specialist ADR - Bummed

So I woke up early to call for 7am 180 days out to make reservations for this super cool sounding experience at Sanaa. At 7am they had already no availability for the Wednesday experience. Super bummed. I will try again on Monday to get the Saturday experience. I'm not staying at Disney World so I have to wait 180 days from the reservation date.

I didn't think I would have trouble with this one, from what I read it seemed pretty easy to get. Has anyone else had trouble? Do you think Saturdays will be easier to get than Wednesday? I wish they would offer it more often, especially if its booked so quickly during off season (Early Oct)

If I can't get Saturday I'll try for the next wednesday as I'll be in Cocoa beach and I think the drive back would be worth it. It's for my honeymoon and it's one of the things I was hoping my fiance would love.

I've never heard of this, but that bites. Hopefully you will have better luck with the next day.

I doubt it's actually available yet. Some experiences don't open until 60 or 90 days. I had to call the restaurant directly and leave a message to book this experience.

So this is what happened!

When I was looking at booking other restaurants last night I realized the reservation window was one day behind what I expected. I decided to call again this morning. I was able to book!

Two different agents told me I should be able to book on Thursday but that there was no availability. I've read about Disney's whacky way of counting days for ADR (unofficial guide) but I figured Disney agents would be clued into it!
