Dillards military discount Dec. 3 and 4

Active or retired military members and dependents get a 20% discount on merchandise on Dec. 3 and 4 (10% on appliances and furniture) at any Dillards store.

SAVE your receipts, when you finish shopping take your receipts for the two days to customer service, show your valid military ID and they will deduct the discount from your purchases from the same form of payment (eta: seems like a quick rebate rather than discount, but still nice).

I don't have further details, just relaying information I received from a flyer, which was a letter written by the President of Dillard's, Alex Dillard.

If anyone does know about this, will they allow the discount on cosmetics and fragrance?

The answer is YES! I just got my daughter a perfume set (and some free bonus items)that was $60 and got $12 back on it! I need to run over later with her and look at the dresses and purses! Thanks OP!

Customer service woman told me it was "for any purchases"!

She actually called to make sure it was good for military as she thought it was only for law enforcement. Maybe firefighters too?? Not sure on that one. She made a copy of my ID. Was very easy. Thanks again! I plan to go back!

I have had a great shopping day and good luck with prices and price adjustments thanks to this board!
