i booked our trip for 2010 from the VH preview, and now the main brochure is out, i priced it up again & it seems to be coming out about the same price. BUT with free dining :( (1st 7 days are at CSR)
The lovely lady who helped me book (uk call centre) gave me her e-mail address as i intended on adding RPR when main brochure came out - i emailed her to contact me & thought when she called i'd query carrying over my deposit & rebooking to get the free dining BUT stupid e-mail doesnt work :(
I dread calling & trying to sort it especially if i get the dreaded indian call centre - who wont have a clue anyway!!

soooo can i carry my deposit over & rebook - or would it be a waste of time????

& if anyone gets lorraine burroughs at VH ask her for ext number or correcr e-mail for me pleeeze:flower3:

Can't really help Tracey but....we priced up a holiday last weekend for 2010 with Virgin UK call centre and I got an extension number for a lovely lady called Becky, ext 36506.
Maybe if you ask for that number you can get through somehow to the person you require?

We didn't actually book....yet, waiting to book flight only with Virgin Atlantic. :)

*just to note the dates you go next year are very similar to when we will be trying for*

Sorry I don't have her email but I got one today for a man from virgin and his is just his name with a . separating first and last name @virgin.com. I would think most would be like this ie both names separated with a .
this is what most big companaies try to do as it makes locating pepole easier.

I would think you could cancel and move for another holiday but you would have to pay a fee pp. It used to be £25( i think) so it would be worth it if that is all you lost.

Thankyou both :)

Johnny - what was the main number you called before the ext number? Thanks for the recommendation - that really helps - i'll give Becky a try.
I'll be looking for your countdown when you book, i'm sure i'd recognise your little boy - i've seen so many pics of him :)

Scottishmum - thats interesting as the e-mail had the . in but ended @virginholidays.co.uk, so i may give it another go & add @virgin.com

think it might have been virginholidays.com
thats what i meant to write but it was definately .com

Hi Tracey,

It was this number 0844 557 5825 for new bookings.

After accepting a couple of the options I actually got connected to someone before talking to the reservation people - it was then I asked for Becky's direct number.

Would be great if we saw each other yes, but we can't book for a couple of months as we are using miles & money with Virgin Atlantic, fly drive plus Premium Economy prices with VH were just more than we wanted to pay.

Good luck anyway. :)
