Do you create the book in shutterfly or in another program and then upload them to shutterfly? I am just starting to explore the whole digital scrapbook thing and am curious how to print the pages. Thank you!

I created them with PSE 5. I've since upgrade to PSE 7. I used Wendyzine's actions to size my layouts for Shutterfly books. They are great!

Can anyone suggest a kit that would be good for Port Orleans French Quarter?

What a morning this has been! On the way to church my DH locked us out of the house. Had a terrible time getting back in. So now that I have a little extra time on my hands I thought I'd let you all know what I've been up to.

I was an art (design) major in college and I love to use Photoshop, so I got the bright idea to start designing my own kits. I took my own photographs and made patterns and brushes out of them. It's hard to see below, but my boys' set is full of textures -- bark, water, concrete, moss, etc. My designs may not be the greatest, but I'm having a great time!

None of these layouts are final since I've left "room for growth."

And last after 5 grandsons we finally have a granddaughter!

In my new Phils book, this separates regular season from the playoff season LOs (there wasn't an "end scoreboard" for the final game, since after they won the WS, I guess they figured no one cared about the box score and would rather see "2008 World Champs" flashing, lol. So instead I used a pic showing where to get the world champ hats/shirts for that last game)

Jen, Welcome to the crazy world of digi-scrapping! The best place for SBC+ question is on the SBC+ thread. I'm a CMC and can answer your questions if you wanted to PM me, but if you place them on the thread everyone can benefit from them. The traffic on that thread goes in spurts, I must admit.

But for now, my best advice would be to first read through the thread, then write down questions about it. Also, have you done the tutorials over on the CM.com site? I'll be sure to be better about checking over on the SBC+ thread, too! I'm just too busy having fun making these pages, that's all!

That graphic was actually made by a talented DIS designer... over on the design forum. I am ashamed to say, I can't remember who did it... She was taking requests for these amazing graphics and generously created them for people... but I think she got overwhelmed by all of the requests and closed the thread, and I haven't been able to find her since .... We had the graphic made into shirts and tote bags for our trip... Thanks for your complements... the graphic totally makes the page... I just love it.

When I saw this black paper from 'Tiny Dancer', it reminded me of pavement, so I decided to do this LO.
