digital picture question....almost scrapping

I love my digital camera and all the cool stuff it does. My only problem is the files are too big when i want to send them as an email. I have the adobe photoshop and the sony image mixer that came with the camera but i can't seem to get any of them to tell me how to send a picture through email that is small enough and acceptable.

Hi, I don't knkow if this will help, but you can try saving it in jpg format. That is the easiest one to get through email. I know I have problems when I save it as other formats.

on our digital camera there is a setting to save the picture as an email attachment. I know too when I attach a picture to an email in hotmail it gives me a choice to send it actual size or smaller. I always send it smaller. In photoshop I just keep shrinking the picture until it fits onto the page. (that probably made it as clear as mud, sorry ) magie
