Will this camera accept a regular slr minolta lens? Good camera?

It is a good camera, but it will not accept any Minolta lenses. I believe that Sony bought Minolta's camera division and is making a DSLR that takes some of the Minolta lenses.

it will accept minolta AF lenses, if your minolta lenses are manual focu you are out of luck..
