Difficult to get 2bd villa at Vero in June?

Hi all,

I am starting to plan my big family vacation for 2010 and will need a 2bd villa and a studio at AK in early June 2010 (I own at BLT) and also the following week a 2bd villa at Vero. Am I deluded in hoping that those will be available when I call right at 7mos out? And it is 7mos from check out date, right? Not check in date, or do I have it backwards?

Yes, check in date, and I think if you call right at first date available, you'll be ok.

I do own at VB and am planning our June 2010 trip, but it's going to be at the end of the month. I'm trying to decide between a Beach Cottage or a 2 bedroom and a 1 bedroom together with 3 inn rooms. I can "do" the BC or the "1 & 2 bedrooms" at 11 months, but will need to book the inn rooms at 7 months. I do hope that there is availablilty at 7 months for both of us!!!

I was booking for this July and found that the Inn rooms were fine at 7 mos. but getting the 2 bdr wasn't as easy. I called 1 day late - forgot after constantly reminding myself - and had to be waitlisted. I'm still hoping that it comes through but was able to book the inn room at that time no problem.

I was able to get a 2bd at 7month for August 9-11, I don't know how bookings compare from June to August.
