Different Type of Trip! April 2014 w/ the Grandmas! 2/22 Complete!

4/22/14 - Magic Kingdom Day!!

I slept a bit better this night even with a 25lb wiggle worm in the bed with me. I got up and started getting ready because we were on our way to the Magic Kingdom!!!! The park opened at 9am and I was hoping to get there in time for the Opening Show which I just love. Everyone got up and we got ready and out the door by 7:40am...giving us an hour and 20 minutes before park opening.

uuDvGf9.jpg

Well, we hit every traffic light and half way there I realized I had forgot my phone which had all my FP info because of the MDE app. Everyone else had old phones so I knew I couldn't download the app on their phones, I was tempted to turn around and go get it but I was on a mission to get to my favorite park!!

ht5FAVg.jpg

I knew I could go to one of the FP Kiosks and write down the info once I was in the park. We got to the parking lot and parked in the heros section (Simba), jumped on the tram and made our way to the TTC. Once we arrived there we saw the monorail was not running...I was so disappointed I LOVE the monorail and was looking forwared to hearing Monorail Voice Man! We made our way over to the ferryboat and unfortunately one was just pulling out so we had to wait for another one to arrive.

WUW1u6j.jpg

We didn't have to wait too long and we boarded the boat that would be taking us to my happy place! I was able to grab a great place to wait out our ride. DS joined me and all I kept hearing from the Grandmas was to make sure I didn't drop DS through the window....really???? LOL...don't worry Moms I have him!

xzX7Ri8.jpg

Soon my DD joined us as well. I really just took a minute to enjoy this moment with my kids...they are both growing up so fast. I know Emma is my step-daughter but she is a part of me as well and we have had a special bond from the moment we met! I was standing there with both of my kids approaching my happy place! I just wanted to bottle that feeling right then and there!

VylYjzx.jpg

Soon my Mom came over and we switched so she could check out the view. As I passed off my DS to her, I reminded her not to drop him through the window. :)

Before we knew it we were seeing this beautiful view!!

We finally made it to the Magic Kingdom at 9:30!!!! So, we missed the Opening Show. I actually wasn't too disappointed because I knew we would be coming back to the Magic Kingdom on Friday and we would catch it then (or would we?). We entered the gates and of course we headed straight to the restrooms...always the first stop. After that it was about 9:45 and I thought for sure our FP for Mickey was at 9:50 (remember didn't have my phone to check). We crossed over to meet Mickey and when I scanned my ticket and the dreaded "no go" light came on. She looked me up and told me my FP wasn't until 10:20. We asked another CM where the closest FP Kiosk was and he told me if I was staying offsite it was over in Tomorrowland. So, the Grandmas took a seat in the available rocking chairs on the porch and the kids stayed with them while DH and I made our way over to Tomorrowland. We also thought it would be a good idea to pick up some sunscreen because of course I had forgotten that back at the condo as well...womp, womp!!

We found the FP Kiosk and a wonderful CM pulled up my FP info and I was able to jot the info down in my DD's autograph book. We then went over to Mickey's Star Traders to pick up some sunscreen...I cringed when it cost $13, especially when I knew we had some back at the condo. However, I knew I didn't want anyone getting sunburnt either so I paid for the sunscreen and we made our way back over to the family. We all covered ourselves in the sunscreen and then made our way into meet the Main Mouse!! I was very curious to see how DS would react to him...I was just hoping he would not get upset.

Unfortunately, I have to stop here because real life demands on calling my name. I will post another update soon, I promise!

Eek, I do have to say that not waiting for a ferryboat is a good point of buses. Of course then I have to wait for the buses, but we do get dropped super close to the entrance so I think it evens out ;)

And it's okay, we all have forgetful moments. But I would have cringed at the sunscreen too. Though, actually, I saw some at the pharmacy here the other day for just as much so it could have been worse. In Mexico the cheapest we found was like $20

This was definitely one of the times I was missing the buses and not staying on-site, but with so many of us it worked out best for us to rent a condo. At the end of the day we all needed to break off to our own space to the condo served that purpose well.

I see you are heading off to Disney...hope you all have a great time! I have gone back and started reading your trip reports and I'm enjoying them very much. We were also there in November 2012 but we went the week after Thanksgiving.

Hope you have a great trip!!

4/22/14 - Magic Kingdom Day!! - Part 2

So, I left off right when we were entering to meet Mickey himself (that was kind of mean to leave off at that point..sorry). Well, this time our FP's resulted in that beautiful green color and we were on our way! We waited for a few minutes and we were led into the waiting area and got our first glimpse of the Main Mouse!! My DS about leaped out of my arms he was so excited!!

He was passed off to Nanny (my Mom) and he just couldn't get over the fact that Mickey was RIGHT THERE!!

SEU7nE5.jpg

My DD was pretty excited too...she had her autograph book already to go! We waited a few more minutes and then it was our turn. DD went first and got his autograph and then she was shocked to hear him talk to her!! She all of a sudden became a bit bashful. She got his autograph and her picture with him. I know in a few years she will be "too old" for the characters, but in the meantime I love seeing her meet them now!

FLdwUmF.jpg

Then it was DS's turn. I put him down and he ran up to Mickey, but before he reached him he turned around and ran back to me. Then he would run back to Mickey and then run back to me...he was in complete awe!! I love this picture my DH got because he is just looking up at Mickey like "Is that really you??"

3IWI37T.jpg

We then all gathered for a family picture with Mickey!

L8VVqZ9.jpg

Once we were done spending some time with Mickey we made our way down Main Street, and we saw this beautiful site!

hJuhDKH.jpg

As we were approaching the castle Dream Along with Mickey was going on. My DD asked me how Mickey got up on the stage so quickly...I let her know there was a special tunnel that ran all the way to the castle that he uses to get from his Meet and Greet to the show. (Phew!...close one). We stopped and watched the show for a bit and drank some water that I had brought because it was definitely warming up.

RgBOx9R.jpg

We then made our way over to Fantasyland, of course the first thing we noticed was the lack of walls around the Mine Train. DH and I were keeping fingers crossed they would have soft openings but it didn't look very hopeful! We also walked past a camera crew that had a huge camera crane.

We made our way over to LM because DD wanted this to be her first ride at the MK.

UbrESIG.jpg

The posted wait was 20 minutes and we jumped in line. Being able to use the stroller in line for my DS was great! It provided him his own space and he didn't get overwhelmed by all the people. I rode with my MIL, DD rode with DH and DS rode with my Mom. We all loved the ride!!

After the ride I had to take DS for a diaper change and the rest of the family waited for us. As DS and I were making our way back from the Gaston Area Restrooms my DS all of a sudden stopped, I turned around to see what made him stop and he had decided to grab a Mickey Mouse stuffed animal that was hanging out of a lady's bag. I apologized for my pick pocketing son. :)

I met back up with the family and we made our way over to Dumbo, another ride I was looking forward to seeing my kids on with their Grandmas. Unfortunately, Dumbo had run out of pixie dust and he was not flying. :( We all decided at this point it would be a good time to stop for some lunch and we decided on Columbia Harbour House. One of mine and DH's favorites. On our way over there we walked past the Mine Train and checked out all the progress that had taken place since our last visit in November 2012, and we spotted another camera crew.

We walked past Winnie the Pooh and saw it only had a 15 minute wait so we decided to get in line. I think this is such a cute ride!! While we were in line my kids played with all the interactive toys and of course my DH cringed when hey stared playing with the Honey Wall...he is a bit of a germ-a-phobe. My DH started chatting with the CM and asked him about the Mine Ride. The CM told us they were filming later on today and if we were lucky we could even catch the Seven Dwarfs taking a ride (wink, wink)!

SsJ0RnJ.jpg

I road with DS, DD rode with Mom and DH rode with his Mom. Another cute ride enjoyed by the whole family. When we got off the ride my DS started signing "more, more", and he started get very upset the ride was over. My son was recently diagnosed with Autism and he is non-verbal at this time so he gets very aggrevaited when he can't communicate what he
wants so he uses sign language. So, he had a slight meltdown because he wanted to keep riding Pooh! We later discovered if we told him we were leaving to do "more" that would help calm him down. This was yet another reason having his stroller very handy was very helpful because he would calm down once in his seat.

By this time it was definitely time for some lunch so we headed over to CHH, we passed the new Tangle bathrooms on the way and I made a mental note we needed to go back by and check them out. I was impressed with just a walk by.

7Us3L3t.png

We made our way into CHH and I took the kids to find a table while everyone else ordered the food. Here is what we all ate:

Me: Shrimp Basket...so yummy!
DH: Chicken Tenders and fish...he ate every last bite so I guess that means it was good!
DM: Fish Basket...she enjoyed it!
DMIL: Garden Harvest Salad...it looked delicious from where I was sitting.
DD: Uncrustable Meal (really? I could have packed that for her..LOL)
DS: I packed his lunch and he munched a little, but he was getting tired.

DS fell asleep in his stroller and once we had all finished our lunches we headed over to find a place for the Grandmas to sit with Joe while he napped. DD, DH and I decided to see if we could change our Winnie the Pooh FP to Pirates since we were able to go on Winnie the Pooh through the standby line. I went to the kiosk to change it and it was a mess over there, and then I ran into problems with the kiosk...it would only pull my info up even though I had linked everyone's together and the CM wasn't sure either so I just left it the same. I also made a mental reminder not to forget my phone again!!!

The three of us made our way over to Adventureland and checked out the wait times for the Carpet Ride (30 minutes) and Jungle Cruise (70 minutes). We made our way over to Pirates which had a 40 minute wait so we decided to wait it out. In the line we decided it was probably a good idea for all of us to take our afternoon break after this because it was getting hot and crowded.

The wait wasn't actually too bad and once we made it inside we were able to cool off. Pirates is one of my DH's favorite rides and I always enjoy the ride. I did get a little splashed in the battle scene which was a first but nothing major. :)

iHG52fU.jpg

After our ride we made our way back over to the Grandmas and DS was just waking up. We told the Grandmas we thought it might be best to head to the condo for our break and go for a swim and then come back for the late afternoon/evening. They agreed so we made our way out of the park. The monorail was still down so we walked over to the ferryboat and waited.

We were able to get some seats so that was nice to sit for a bit. As we were unloading from the ferryboat I spotted a person from my April 2014 Facebook Group!! I went up and introduced myself and I was so happy I got to meet her because we actually live very close to each other. She is actually a teacher in the county I live in. So, of course we took a quick picture and she and her family headed off to Epcot and we made our way back to the condo.

lL9pMKe.jpg

We made it back to the condo and the Grandmas and I decided to take the kis to the pool while DH took a nap. The pool was great and it was a nice way to cool off and take a break.

99i3jCc.jpg

We stayed for about an hour and a half and headed back to the condo to get dressed to return to the MK. We were back on our way to the park around 5pm!

Ok, I will need to stop here because again real life is calling me!! :(

Finally made it over to your TR! :cool1:

Sounds like you guys were having a great trip so far! The off-site condo seems like a great idea with more people-- sounds like you guys had a ton of space!

Welcome!!! Hope you are doing well! Thanks so much for joining along. The condo was definitely nice with so many of us...it gave us all our own space and we most definitely needed that at times. :)

4/22/14 - Magic Kingdom Day - Part 3

We parked in the Villians section this time (Scar) and hopped onto the tram. We were becoming experts on folding up the stroller and getting us all on the tram!

kMDrWKe.jpg

We headed to the TTC and I was saddened again to see that the monorail was still not up and running. We headed over to the ferry boat and had better luck this time and walked right on.

We headed over to Adventureland and we all took a ride on Aladdin's Magic Carpet Ride. The wait was about 25 minutes, but we decided to wait because we knew it was a ride we could all do together. I rode with my DS and as usual he had a blast, and as soon as the ride was over he began signing "more"! LOL

After that we headed over to Pirates (if you are keeping count this was my 2nd ride). The wait wasn't nearly as bad this time and before we knew it we were all enjoying our pirate adventure.

cJsvcFa.jpg

I just love everything about this ride!! After Pirates we were all getting a bit hungry but didn't want anything too big so while my Mom and I sat at a table near the Pirates gift shop and close to Pecos Bills, my DH, DMIL and DD went to grab some food while I got DS set up with something to eat (he is on a gluten free diet so it is easier to just pack his food). Soon they were back and I decided to go grab something for Mom and I to share. I decided on the ribs combo...OH MY this was huge and more than enough to share (So much for not getting something too big)!! By the time I got back with the food the others were done (yes it took that long), so DMIL and DH took the kids to look around the Pirates Gift Shop while Mom and I ate.

It was approaching Parade time so we knew this was our chance to maybe hit up some of the Fantasyland rides without too much of a wait. So, that is where we headed next. Our first stop was the Tangled Bathrooms!!!! I have never looked so forward to using a bathroom in my whole life!!

Next stop was IASW. It was a complete walk on and we got a special boat, so we each had our own seats and we were on our way!

aiaEgyj.jpg

My DS was sitting with my Mom and he was completely mesmermized!!! He absolutely loved it! He sat still for the entire ride.

bZ6FgZf.jpg

As we were getting off the ride he was signing "more" again and my DMIL mentioned to the CM it had been 30 years since she had ridden this ride. The CM then told us to get back on our boat and go for another ride...no waiting back on the same boat. So we did what we were told and went on it again...it was great!!!

lvMmuwp.jpg

When we got off our second ride we heard the fireworks starting up so we headed out to see them. We ended up standing close to the carousel and Pinnochio's and we were literally surrounded by the fireworks. It was not very crowded at all and it was beautiful!! It was a unique place to watch them and truly one of my favorite moments of the trip. My DS was in his stroller and he was holding my hand as we watched them together!

0hJ1YRQ.jpg

vOfuZTj.jpg

After the fireworks we quickly headed over to Peter Pan since there was a small line..this is when we ran into our one and only grumpy CM. My Mom started going through the line with the stroller (again we had the red tag on it), and he yelled "Yo, Yo...where do you think you are going?". My Mom pointed out the tag on the stroller and he yelled and said, "Go down to the wheel chair entrance!!" I couldn't believe how rude he was, but we didn't want it to ruin our ride experience so we went where we were told to go and made it on the ride. I rode with my DD, DH and DMIL rode together and DM and DS rode together. As always it was a fun ride and DD was getting a kick out of her shoes glowing! LOL When we got off the ride, my Mom told us that DS was falling asleep leaning on her during the ride and slowly signing "more, more" as he was falling asleep!

DH took DD on the carousel while the rest of us sat and waited. DS had fallen asleep in his stroller and we decided as soon as DH and DD got back we would head out before the 2nd parade started so we could try to avoid some of the crowd.

UdZ1N8r.jpg

We started to make our way to Main Street and DH took a picture of the
castle....so pretty!

RNXR27E.jpg

We got routed to the monorail...the line was HUGE!!!!! We tried to get in the resort monorail line knowing it also made a stop at the TTC but were told that the monorail was acting up so it might be best for us to ride the other one. Unfortunately during this time I started having back spasms (I had back surgery a couple of years ago and ever since there are times I get back spasms). FINALLY we made it onto the monorail and it was standing room only, but we finally made it back to the van and were on our way back to the condo. We all crashed pretty quickly but we had a great day!!

We decided to just sleep in the next morning and head to our Lunch ADR and then onto Epcot for the afternoon...let's see how well that plan worked out! :)

Mid-day breaks are the best. Especially with such great views.

Glad you found out the way to calm down your DS and that he found things that he loved. Good choices, all of them. No doubt about that.

I can't believe how grumpy that CM was though. I mean, you didn't know and he could have been much more polite about things. It wasn't like you were purposefully being difficult or anything.

Wishes is great from any view though.

I'm really enjoying your trip report! We've been to DLR too many times to count, but will be heading east for our one and only WDW trip in the spring of 2016. Thanks for all of the details!

This was actually the first trip I had scheduled breaks...I mainly did it for the kids and the Grandmas but I ended up really like having the break as well. I might have to start doing this from now on. ;)

DS was so happy...he loved everything! I was very worried but he was great!

The CM was so grumpy and I can understand because people were bombarding the PP ride after the fireworks because it was a short wait, but still there was no need to be so ill! :(

Thanks so much for following along. I have never been to DLR before, though it is on my wish list! Hoping to provide another update soon.

4/23/14 - Epcot Day!!

So the group decided it might be best for us to take it easy the morning of our Epcot Day and head to our Lunch ADR at Beaches and Cream and then head over to Epcot for the afternoon. We had a nice relaxing morning at the condo, and then made our way over to our ADR.

This was my first visit to Beach Club Resort and I was looking forward to checking it out a bit. We pulled in to park at the Beach Club but the parking lot was filled so we were sent over to the Yacht Club to park. The walk over to the BC was not bad at all, and when I entered the Beach Club Lobby I finally under "THE SMELL" I have heard so much about...I loved it!! It was so beautiful, I loved it so much that my DH and I are considering renting DVC point for our Honeymoon Redo!

We walked outside and made our way by the pool (which I loved as well), and we were able to check in for our ADR a bit early. While we waited a few minutes, my DH and DD decided to have a photo shoot:

UKr7hk0.jpg

We got a booth in the restaurant and I think like many others I was surprised how small it was. My DMIL loved the restaurant she started telling us about how it reminded her of when she was a young girll..very sweet.

jM0vKPP.jpg

qqFrFUZ.jpg

Here is the breakdown of our meal choices:
Me: Hotdog and french fries with a diet coke with cherry sryup (yummy)
DH: Cheeseburger and french fries
DM: Hotdog and french fries
DMIL: Hotdog and french fries
DD: Grilled Cheese and french fries
DS: Snacked off of our plates

While we were there we saw a family order the Kitchen Sink...I could not believe how big that thing is!! After we were done, my DH took my DS over to the arcade because he was getting a bit antsy and was ready to get down for a bit. The ladies of the group decided to get dessert!!

Me and DM: Split a No Way Jose!! OH MY GOODNESS...so yummy!!!!!!!
DD: Mint chocolate chip...this was the first time she has had mint chocolate chip...I told her it tasted like the candy she gets at the end of the meal at Olive Garden. She was all about that when I told her that!
DMIL: Butter Pecan ice cream

Overall I really enjoyed this meal and the environment!

We headed back to the van and it was very hot out, so we the vote was to head back to the condo for a bit and then head to Epcot for late afternoon/evening.

We went back to the condo for a bit and waited for the weather to cool down a bit. This was another time I was verythankful to have the condo and the space it provided.

IsnSisw.jpg

You can tell the kids made themselves comfortable in the living room...toys everywhere just like home!

HD7lQ97.jpg

He was enthralled that there was a washing machine and dryer behind this door!

Once the weather had cooled down a bit we decided to make our way to Epcot for the evening. I was looking forward to heading back there with everyone this time.

I will share our family Epcot adventures in my next update.

I need to get to the BC so I can understand the 'smell' that I keep hearing about ;)

The food sounds super good too! So that could be helpful.

That is a lot of space and I can see how it would be good. It's nice sometimes just to relax. :)

4/23/14 - Epcot Day!! Part 2

So, after we had a nice rest at the condo we made our way to Epcot. We parked and took an enjoyable ride on the tram. I really enjoy Epcot! I had changed around my FP+ a bit since we were coming to the park a bit later then initially planned.

We made our way through the gates and decided to take a ride on SE.

IPY1xgM.jpg

image from Google Images

We entered through a separate entrance because of Joey's stroller and while we waited we played the "who is sitting with who?" game. I decided to ride with my MIL, DD rode with DH and my DS rode with DM. I knew my DMIL would enjoy this ride so I was glad to be sitting with her.

After SE, DM, DD and I headed over to Soarin' to use our FP+. On our way we I noticed the Character Spot only had about a 10 minute wait so we decided to go meet some characters. Now who would we be meeting?

Well, our first meet was with the Main Mouse himself. When my DD approached him with her autograph book, he noticed she already had a signature from him from the Magic Kingdom and wouldn't sign it again. At first I thought this was going to upset her but she was fine with it.

eh1Ativ.jpg

Next it was DS's turn, again he was so excited but still a bit unsure about the whole thing. I could tell he wanted to just give him a big hug, but would then 2nd guess himself. So cute!

f0zXd1l.jpg

Next up was Goofy! This interaction was fantastic!!! DD handed over her autograph book and he promptly signed the book, but then he would not give hand back her pen. He kept pretending to give it to her and then would pull it away. She got the giggles. I finally told her to say "please", and she did but she really had to yank the pen away. So simple, but my DD talked about it for the rest of the trip and she says that is why is name is Goofy...cause he is goofy!

c61oOde.jpg

FH2GEXi.jpg

3FXc3HH.jpg

Then it was DS's turn...we got the same reaction as before. So excited but so overwhelmed! Goofy was so good with him too.

AOBKNf5.jpg

We rounded the last corner and who should we see but Minnie Mouse, looking so adorable in her dress! DD was up first and got her autograph. She then posed for a picture. I just can't believe how tall she looks in this picture with Minnie Mouse...she is growing up way too fast!

bvL6DFs.jpg

It was DS's turn next...as you can see my DM and DS were both very excited about meeting the wonderful Minnie Mouse!

iJ3xMKl.jpg

lnNZlOp.jpg

I asked the Grandmas to get in the picture as well. Minnie Mouse is my Mom's favorite...they are about the same size! All DS wanted to do was pull her ear! BOYS!

Ee3TCbr.jpg

Vgi7OkB.jpg

After we hung out with our friends we continued making our way over to Soarin' because we had a FP+ to use!

aVyCQA5.jpg

My DH did this ride on our last trip and about had a panic attack and I wasn't sure if my DMIL would like it or not. So, it was just the 3 of us heading over to Soarin' while the rest took their time to look around. They all ended up going on Nemo to my DS's delight.

Unfortunately, I didn't get any pictures because DH had the camera with him. :(

We were led to the last row which I knew that meant we would have feet in our view, but that was fine! My DM absolutely loved the ride!! My DD got over her nerves quickly and just made me hold her hand the entire time. My DM ended up telling me that was probably her favorite ride out of the entire trip since this was one of the few rides she had never been on before.

After the ride I texted my DH and told him to meet us over at Living with Land since it did not have a wait and we could all ride it together. We walked onto our nice boat ride. I don't know why but I really enjoy this ride! Of course my DS loved it...being outside and moving...he couldn't ask for more!

We then headed over to Test Track. I had made a FP+ reservation for my DH and DMIL for this since they were not interested in Soarin'. However, my DMIL was not too keen on riding TT either. So, we got the Grandmas settled with the kids, and DH and I headed over to TT (with me using my DMIL's FP+). This was our first ride since the changes had been made. We enjoyed the ride, and decided that DD would probably enjoy this as well (though she said she wanted to skip it this time).

This ride together gave us a sneak preview of what would it be like for our date night that was scheduled for later on in the week! It was nice and we were definitely looking forward to it!!

We met up with the kids and Grandmas and decided to stop off for a potty break (potty?? Yes I have kids). We then made our way over to Journey into Imagination, but unfortunately it was closed (it was 7pm). Well, I wanted the kids and my DM to be able to ride another before we left, so DH, DM and kids made their way over to Nemo since my Mom didn't ride it earlier on in the day since she was on Soarin'.

My DMIL and I sat and enjoyed just being in Epcot. I was checking my phone and I noticed one of my FB April Group buddies was also in Epcot and was near by so we decided to meet up to say hello. It was quite funny because we were messaging back and forth and we both looked up from our phones at the same time and were probably 10 feet away from each other! We said hello and her daughter snapped a picture of us. Her family made me laugh because they were referencing all her April Disney buddies as cult members! LOL! So, we proudly took our "cult" picture!

CV039T3.jpg

It was a quick Meet and Greet, but fun! After that my family and I decided to head out for the evening. We made our way back to the condo and grabbed some dinner on the way home. We were all pretty tired and fell asleep pretty quickly after dinner. The next day was our scheduled HS day...let's see how that unfolded!!

I need to get to the BC so I can understand the 'smell' that I keep hearing about ;)

The food sounds super good too! So that could be helpful.

That is a lot of space and I can see how it would be good. It's nice sometimes just to relax. :)

I never understood the whole smell thing until I walked into the lobby..I could have stayed in that lobby all day long!

The food was definitely yummy...the restaurant is very small but we had a nice time!

I'm definitely happy we went with the condo this trip, I missed being onsite but the need of space trumped being onsite.

I'm so sorry that I have completely slacked off on this TR. Real life unfortunately took over, and then school started up and the kids schedules are NUTS!

I'm hoping to provide an update soon! Thanks so much for your patience.

4/24/14 - Hollywood Studios- Part 1

This day ended up being a bit different than planned. My DMIL and DM ended up stay back at the condo for the morning while DH and I took to the kids to DHS.

We made our way over to Star Tours. My DH is a huge Star Wars fan so we headed over that way so he and my DD could ride Star Tours.

They of course enjoyed the ride, while my DS and I walked around and enjoyed some Mommy/Son time. Before I knew DH and DD were done with the ride. We checked the stand-by line and it was still only 20 minute wait so they decided to ride it again.

Once they had enjoyed their second ride through the galaxy we headed over to The Great Movie Ride, I really enjoy this ride and I was keeping my fingers crossed for the Cowboy side because I always get the Gangster side. We were able to ride in the very front of the vehicle which is always nice. So, as we went through the ride we got to THE part and we got the Cowboy Side!! I was so excited and I tried to explain to my husband why, but he really didn't get it! LOL

We got to the Wizard of Oz scene and the Witch appeared and did her unmistakeable laugh and my son (2 year old) imitated the laugh perfectly...he did it so well he caused our tour guide to stumble a bit through her dialouge. So funny!

We then decided to head over to Disney Junior Live, my son really enjoyed this show...he tried with all his might to get on the stage but he was in awe of the show and really had a great time!

After this it was time for our ADR at Sci-Fi, this is a must do for my DH. We both really enjoy this restaurant. Unfortunately during this visit my Son started having some major tummy issues and was crying big time. So, I asked my DH to just get my food to go and took my son outside and found a shady spot to sit with my son. I was able to get him calmed down and he ended up falling asleep in his stroller. My DH brought out my food and I ate while my DD and DH went to use their FP for Toy Story Mania.

My DH texted me after the ride and said it was a lot fun, we had never had the opportunity to ride it during our prior visits. He told me to come on over with DS and he would watch the kids while I used my FP to ride solo. Luckily, DS had woken up and was feeling much better so we headed over there.

So, I finally got to ride Toy Story and I loved it! So much fun, so it will definitely be on my FP list from now on!!

At this time, we decided to head back to the condo to meet back up with the Grandmas. I had a date with my Mom to Epcot that evening that I wanted to rest up for, I was really looking forward to spending the time with her.

Glad you're back! Looks like we were both away from the Dis for awhile! Hope things are going well at home and can't wait to hear about the rest of the trip. :goodvibes
