Different GoG songs...totally random?

Is there a way to figure out what song you will have? Or plan to get a certain song? We got two different ones this trip but really want specific one in November.

I'm not even sure what song I heard, it escaped my mind when I lost my cookies in the trash can at the end!!!!!! But I'm going back with a patch so I'll pay more attention to the music. Awesome ride.

You poor thing! We loved it both times but it was definitely more intense than I realized the first time we rode! Wasn't sure what I was expecting. We all game off laugh/crying.

I have had them all several times, even the holiday one. It’s totally random. I’ll get 3 different in a row then the same song 3 in a row.

It’s kinda fun waiting to see what you get!

I believe it's a fairly simple setup - each song is assigned a value of 1 though 6 and each train plays the songs in order 1-6 all day every day. I have no clue if the order is the same for every train, but if you were to be in train three for six consecutive dispatches you'd get every song.

I'm pretty sure the only time they fixed it was when Gloria and Emilio Estefan rode it for a publicity thing and they obviously got Conga.

Otherwise it's totally random. No way to request or for the regular CMs to even know what you're getting.

I wish there was. We got run/i ran? 4 out of the 5 times we rode it last trip. It's our least favorite so that was a bummer.

Oh wow! That's crazy you got the same song that many times. I would be bummed also!

We figured it was random! Won't make or break wanting to ride again obviously. Was my favorite new ride of our trip and since we haven't been in 4+ years that beat out a lot!

We just keep chanting the song we want while getting on the ride But ya, totally random. We did manage to get only 1 repeat in 5 rides on the last trip - and it was a song we had not had previously; so we did not mind getting it twice.

We've been on it 4 times and got 3 different songs, so I'm guessing it is random or it could be set per car. No real idea, and I'm not sure it matters for us. Even with a repeat song, the ride was as good as ever.

Took me about 25 rides to get all 6 songs....well 7 including the (terrible) holiday overlay.

Over 2 trips and 9 rides we've gotten the following in order:

Conga (great first ride and 2nd favorite song)
I ran/run (I should figure out what it's called - least favorite)
Everybody wants rule world (favorite)
One way or the other
Run × 3
September
Run

I must be the unluckiest person out there because minus the holiday overlay song I've gotten Conga almost every time. Only once did I get another song (Everybody Wants to Rule the World).

I must be the luckiest person in the world—five rides, five songs. September was my first and is my favorite. Only missing I Ran.

I really really want Rule the World but I think I saw that the holiday overlay is the only option during Christmas? Now I'm sad. We got the week of Thanksgiving.

Wow. The odds of getting the same one 4 out of 5 times is roughly 1 in 260. (0.39%) So that's pretty unlucky.
