Different DMEs for people in same room?

Hello! I’m hypothetically planning trips for my family. My DH prob won’t be able to get off of work as much as I can, so I was curious, is it possible for us to take DME at different times even though we are in the same room? For instance, if I arrive on Wednesday but he doesn’t arrive until Friday? Or if he leaves on Sunday but I don’t leave until Tuesday, would we both be able to take DME to the airport?

There are no problems scheduling DME at different times for guests in the same room and on the same reservation. You can do it online -- not sure of the website -- or call DME customer service. My girlfriends and I attended a wedding and stayed in the same room and each arrived on a different flight and took Magical Express to the resort and also departed at different times. Hope this helps -- if I find the website will come back and post for you.

Here is the website: https://secure.reservations.disney.go.com/ibcwdw/en_US/dme/dmeform
or by calling (407) 939-1936. You will need your hotel reservation number, name of your Resort hotel, and flight information for each guest. Have a safe journey and magical trip!

Also, my mom and I arrived on different days per your example and it was no trouble to schedule Magical Express for each of us.
Thanks so much! This will help with the multiple hypothetical trips I’m planning - I’m hoping they turn into real ones 🤞😀

Something to consider when doing anything even slightly out of the ordinary when it comes to DME:

DME is not owned or operated by Disney. It is a third party contractor to Disney (Mears) and has its own employees and operating procedures. Frequently, if you call Disney at the number mentioned above (or any other 407 939- number) you are likely to be given incorrect information by the Disney CMs, including that what you want to do isn't possible. That's not true, of course, but it happens a lot.

It's always better to call DME directly at 866 599-0951. There's almost never a hold time, and they're very efficient. Also, if calling Disney, the CM does not actually have access to the DME computer systems. All they can do is fill out the online form (same one you can fill out) and submit it to DME. If you call DME, the information will be entered directly into the DME database. Yet another perk of calling direct: you can request additional luggage tags if you need them. Frequently, if you give them a Southwest flight, they will automatically flag the system to send 2 tags.

Enjoy
