Differences in pampers

I'm looking to place an order with garden grocer for baby supplies for our trip. It seems that they have baby dry and not the swaddler type diapers that we usually use. I'm just wondering if there is any real difference between the two types? Thanks!

Now that they changed the tabs to be stretchy on the baby dry, I don't find that there is much of a difference. We stopped buying cruisers (same as swaddlers but larger sizes) and started buying baby dry.

DD has been out of diapers for over a year now so it may be a lot different now. I didn't like the baby dry because they felt (to the touch) like they just wouldn't be as comfortable.

If you're very brand/type specific..it doesn't hurt to call Garden Grocer and see if they can accomodate a special request!! I've found they are extremely helpful!!!

You know you can also order beer/wine through them as well....just a little FYI.

We use Swaddlers for daytime diapers. I tried Baby Dry and did not like them. They were not very soft and didn't seem like they would be comfortable. However, we use Huggies Supremes at night because DS soaks through Swaddlers if he wears them all night. Gardengrocer sells Huggies Supreme, so we ordered them and used them day and night for the week we were at WDW.

Maybe you could purchase a small package of Baby Dry or Huggies now and see if you like them enough to use either of those while you're at WDW.

My little guy 6 months also soaks the swaddlers at night.

I HATE Pampers Baby Dry. I used Swaddlers and loved them, and got some Baby Dry for my shower. They were a horrible fit for my boy, and they are not soft. They are very rigid and harsh feeling (don't know if that makes sense). He exploded out of every diaper, every day. I thought it was just me, but then my MIL changed him, and it happened to her too! So I say don't waste your money. Stick to Swaddlers or Costco always works great too!

I use Baby Dry on my 1.5 year old and have no problems. However, I've found that sticking to a type you're happy with is important. If you stick with Pampers you will need to eventually switch to Baby Dry though.

When my 4.5 year old was in diapers I tried many brands, but the only one that he didn't blow out of was Luvs. I tried Luvs with the 1.5 year old when he was smaller and had bad results. Huggies didn't work for him either, but Pampers Baby Dry work just fine.

I found that the tabs on the swaddlers when DS was newborn always came undone, so I switched to huggies. Once he was older huggies didnt seem to fit as well as pampers, and we put him in baby dry. He's been good in them for the last 8 months or so. Cruisers I found leeked but every now and then he soaks through in the night in the baby dry too. We are actually about to try the Huggies overnights for nightime see if that helps.

If you really want swaddlers, bring them from home, then you can use the space where the diapers were in your suitcase for souveniers! I always get a better deal at home too with coupons and such. Just an alternative idea!
