Differences Between Verandah Categories

Hello,

We are in the middle of choosing things for an 2011 cruise. We definately want a room with a verandah, but what is the difference between them all? (Catagory 06A, 05C, 05B, and 05A) Just the deck you are on? and therefore a better view? Just curious.

Location, location, location.

Cat 7s hold only 3 people and most have a solid railing. Those with a plexiglass railing have a partially obstructed view. Thru 2010, cat 5s are on deck 7. Cat 6 are on deck 5 and 6. Depending on the cabin, they hold 3 or 4.

For 2011 bookings I believe it goes like this:

7A are navigator verandahs
6A are solid wall verandahs
5C are on decks 5 & 6 forward & aft
5B are on deck 7 forward & aft and on deck 6 midship
5A are on deck 7 midship

Some folks swear that midship is best (personally I prefer aft) and traditionally the higher the deck, the more expensive the room.
