Difference Photopass Memory Maker

Hi There, can someone please simply explain the difference to me between photo pass and memory maker, I have used photo pass before about 4 years ago, I love the magic shots, not always into the ride shots but just wondering what the main differences were. Thank you and sorry for the questions.
