difference in VR and EW

I was wondering if there is a different in price? I tried looking at the Disney site, but I keep getting an error. My FH is getting a new job, that will have benefits. We're talking about either moving our date up a year or just getting married in a very small ceremony at the local courthouse, so that I can be covered by insurance as well, but we'll still count our FTW as our wedding date.

We got married in the courthouse a year before our wedding..er VR..It is cheaper on DCL and I think it might be for WDW too..

It isn't cheaper at WDW to do an escape wedding or a VR. both are $4500.

it's only cheaper to do a VR on DCL because you don't have to have the legal ceremony in port before you sail.
