I just wanted to give everybody the heads up. Before you call to make a reservation check the rate online first. I had a rate online for 1/26-1/29 POR for $264.30. I had to call to ask some questions so I was going to book over the phone well the cost was going to be $331.15 :confused3 The CM told me in order to get the cheaper rate I would have to book online. I just wanted to let everybody know. Who knows? Maybe the CM was wrong but I just booked online anyway.

Thanks,
Michelle

I ran into the same thing.

I called because I had a reservation @ Allstar Music and wanted to switch to Movies. The CM switched resorts, but the rate did not get changed.

On the phone the CM was telling me $59/night for Movies, while online had it for $49/night.

CM told me to book Movies online for the $49 rate and then he would cancel my original reservation. He said book online first, to make sure I get the $49 rate...that was nice of him...hate to cancel and then the new rate not be there...but it all worked out.

I saved $79 too...woohooooooooooo :cool1:

Yeah the CM is wrong then. You should be able to get that rate. I had to have a CM change an existing reservation from POFQ to the WL. So, I saw the rate online and wrote it down and then I was quoted the same rate when I talked to her. If I hadn't, I would have definitely said something. Sometimes though, I think it's the difference between a standard room and a preferred room though and we don't realize it!

I just changed my POP reservations from the Florida Resident Rate of $64 to the Annual Passholder Rate of $49 with no problems. I did this over the phone because as a CM explained to me yesterday, online ressies have a 45 day cancellation policy whereas the phone bookings are 5 day cancellation poicy.

Funny I thought I was seeing things last night I booked POP @$49. I had one for POP and an alternative for POP that was more $$ same room standard $79. I looked 3 times Yes I booked at the lower rate of $49. Reminds me of booking airlines same plane ,time, airline 4 different prices. Like someone would say oh no Give me $300 Seat it must be way better than that $69. I am talking Southwest Ding fares why show all the other prices? Who in there right mind would say no let me pay more. I can see if you are not sure of trip dates and may make changes.

Probably so or even a difference in what views are available. I think what everyone forgets is that availability at Disney reservations and online changes very quickly. You could check online it be available, make a phone call and its not.

Make Sure the Agent is using these codes and you'll get the online price over the phone.
