Hello, I'm planing my trip and I am a wyndham rewards member and have enough point for some free rooms. I am driving in and figure I could have an extra park day in WDW staying off property (but the bulk would be on property)

Whats the difference between "Wyndham Lake Buena Vista Disney Springs Resort Area" and "Wyndham Garden Hotal in the Disney Springs Resort Area". On a map it looks like its in the same location but on Wyndham Rewards... they have both listed.

Please help... and they would both be free, so I dont know what one to pick???

Thanks,
-phil

These two "hotels" are the same place. They split it to place all the rooms with exterior entry (motel-style) in the Wyndham Garden LBV. The upgraded interior entry tower rooms are the Wyndham LBV (no "Garden"). Both places share the same common areas like the pool and restaurants.

If you have the option, do not select the Garden.

I worked for many years in the hospitality industry. When I saw that this hotel had done this, I thought it was foolish. To make matters worse, they don't adequately explain this odd situation on their website.

Thanks for the info... It would be a free stay for me so I'll go with better one.

We just stayed at the tower "non-garden" Wyndham at Disney Springs and thought it was very nice. For the price of $0 I bet I'd like it even more! Location is great - plan some Disney springs time for sure - and don't discount the ease of hopping to Disney resorts from here - the buses are a very short walk across the lovely new pedestrian bridges. Parking was extra and there was an idiotic resort fee but otherwise I loved it and wouldn't hesitate to stay there again if the price is right

Thanks!!! this is just for one extra full day at the park... and I'll rest here before the ride back to Jersey the next morning :)
