Sorry if this has been asked before but I couldn't figure out a good way to search for it.

We've eaten at the Rainforest Cafe in DTD but it's been a while. As I remember it, the food wasn't anything special but the kids loved it. For Our family trip in November I was thinking about either doing the one in DTD or the one in AK. Is there any difference between the two?

One has a big volcano on top. The other has a big waterfall on top.

More seriously, it's been awhile since I've been to either, but Rainforest Cafe is a pretty corporatized chain, so there won't be a lot of difference between any two in the world.

The AK branch serves breakfast. And I think the Marketplace branch is a little more elaborately designed - I don't remember seeing the animatronic bats in their cave anywhere else for example.

1) We have been to RF in four different cities, including London.
2) As for decor and menu, they are the same.
3) Same with both at WDW.

NOTE: London is on two floors, shop on main and food in basement.

I would think the AK one would be a little less hectic.

Make sure you join the RFC Safari Club (I think it's only $15, lifetime memberhip) and you can get priority seating, a free appetizer, and (I think) 15% off in their gift shop.

You can join right at RFC and not have to wait the 1+hr to be seated!!!

Pays for itself and is good at all the Landry restaurants.
