Difference between PBH Bayview & deluxe rooms?

Hi, I was wondering what the practical difference was between the PBH bayview (regular) & the deluxe rooms? Was it much bigger? Also, if you decide to go Club level, does that automatically get you a deluxe room? Just wondering, have only stayed in a regular, smallish room @ PBH before.

The deluxe rooms are bigger, the bathroom has a shower stall and a tub. They also have a chair. Some of the rooms have a chair folds out into a twin bed. We had a bayview deluxe last year. The bayview room is identical to the regular rooms, you just are guaranteed to be on the bayside of the wings.

The deluxe room is larger with a larger bathroom. Most of them (but not all) have the chair that converts to a sleeper sofa. The view can be of the bay or either pool.

If you book club at reservation, you will get a deluxe room.

We always elect to add Club privileges at check-in. You take the chance it is not available, but it is usually much cheaper to add it to your regular room at check-in than to book a club room.

Thank you both! I will probably go ahead & book club now, even though it may be a little less expensive later...DH hates surprises & will be very disappointed if for some reason we can't get it at check-in.

It can fluctuate depending on the season. The last few times we added it, it was $75 per night. I have heard about people who were quoted up to $100.00 per night. It all depends, especially in this economy.

There is usually a notice on the front desk telling you what it is to upgrade to Club.
