I can guess that when the reservation says 2 bedroom, the second bedroom will have the bed and the pull-out couch. But, it would seem that since it's not a lock-off, the second room wouldn't have the mini kitchenette. Is that right? How is the space configured without the kitchenette? If anyone has photos, that'd be great!

Thank you!
Tricia

(I'm still on the waitlist for the 2 bedroom with 2 queens.)

A 2-bedroom with 2 queen beds in the second bedroom is the usual configuration. It's referred to as a dedicated 2-bedroom.

BCV is the only resort that has a two different options for the dedicated 2-bedrooms. One setup is the standard with 2 queen beds, the other has one queen bed and a sleeper sofa. Apparently the second bedroom with the queen and sleeper sofa is physically smaller and could fit 2 queen beds.

A 2-bedroom lock-off will be made up of a studio and a 1-bedroom villas with an interior connecting door. The studio will be the second bedroom and it will have a queen bed and a sleeper sofa.

The BWV only has 2br lock off rooms. There are no dedicated 2br units at the Boardwalk. So the second bedroom will always have a queen bed and a double pull out sofa bed in it.

All of the 2 bedroom villas a the BWV are lock offs and have 1 queen and 1 double sleep sofa in the second bedroom.

It sounds like you are really talking about the BCV. If so, you may want to edit your title to say BCV. That way you will avoid getting some confusing answers.

For anyone who may not know -

You are correct! Thanks for the tips on editing the title. I'll go fix it now!

I think the issue at BCV was the dedicated units with a balcony in the second bedroom, there was not enough room with the queen bed to get out to it, and that is why they put a queen sleeper in there instead. I haven't stayed in that type, only the one with 2 queens.

When BCV was built all the dedicated two bedroom villas had a sofa and bed in the second bedroom.

However members had been told they would have two queens in the dedicated and therefore they came back and put in as many as they could.

Some rooms due to the shape of the building simply did not allow enough room for two queen beds.

Without the kitchenette you pick up extra closet space.

We stayed in a dedicated 2 bedroom at BCV last year (2 Queens) and personally I thought their closet was bigger (full sized double closet with longer rods to hang clothes) than the walk-in for the Master Suite! Their bathroom area was nice and large too. There were 3 adults and one child staying in that portion of the villa and they had plenty of room for their clothes, shoes, etc.
