Hey out there, last minute question for my group 1/half list. I have the following kids down as a YES for my crafty bottlecap necklaces (worth zero on the black market and have a possibly very short lifespan). If I missed a message from you, and you can tell me ig your kid would enjoy one, and which character your kid likes, I would love to make it! Still time!!
I have on my list YES necklace: Jake, Dylan, Jessica, Samantha, Lilie, Emilie, Jaide, Taylor, Dominic, Adriana, Jojo, Aiden, Colin, Allison, Matilde, Grace, Isabelle, Danny, Brennan.

It was too hard for me (waah, *tear*) to read every single DISboard message to see if there was a random reply thrown in days after my note. Wish DIS had some sort of categorizing of topics like FB, it's much easier to keep track of conversations and not miss things. Oh, I'm sure I'd still miss something with all the excitement going on right now!!

Anyway, thanks for reading this if you still have time to respond please PM me so I don't miss it. A specific character is easier for me to do than random, but for random I'll probably do pirate for boy and princesses for girl,fyi.

My name is Sandy and I'm a filtered water snob. But on a ship their water is just fine IMHO. Yes make room for the booze!!

just a few comments about water...yes, the porters will take it in Fl, not sure about Cali...

for you water snobs (I also am picky)...the water on the ship is actually TOO pure...they distill it and have to ADD minerals back in!! It is better water than ANY bottled water because of that. The ships water plant makes thousands of gallons every day - fresh just for us! So, tap, water station or soda fountain - DCL's water is pretty darn good!

I will see you all on Sunday - I am here in Cali (sweatshirt in hand - kinda cool) and off to Calif. Adventure for the day TTYS!!!

I am also a water snob but look forward to the water on ship. It is the best tasting water, except for well water. So I just take a bottle of water and refill, refill refill.

I packed my kids suits for the Doubletree on Saturday. If we get there in good time, we will hit the pool. Okay, the kids will hit the pool and I will be outside supervising.

We'll see you there! We're thinking about heading to the Cabrillo Aquarium just down the street from the hotel.

It's relatively cheap...donations of $5/adult and $1/child), and they're having a guided tide pool walk Sat afternoon (although we may not be there in time). Low tide is at 2:30 so we may cruise down there on our own. Great views of Catalina Island from the point as well. Otherwise, see you at the pool or at the meetup.

We have brought a case of water with us on every cruise (out of FL). It was never a problem, just put a luggage tag on it and the porters would take it. I thought I read somewhere recently that the porters were not taking the water. They are not contracted through Disney (who says no water in checked luggage) so didn't really care what you checked as long as you tipped them. I could be wrong but I really think this is what I read. I would post on the main boards and ask recent cruisers out of LA..

In the past we've brought water. I recently read that in San Pedro they're not taking the water anymore so we're not brining it either. I'm just bringing a few bottles so we'll have them for port days and can refill on the ship...Kaylee convinced me the water is fine. And I'm bringing along my new favorite, MiO water enhancers.

Can't wait to meet everyone. Can't believe it's finally here!!!

Have a safe trip, and fun at Disneyland. It was HOT here today, and will be mid-80s tomorrow. We met My2MickeyKids at Disneyland today. Oooh, can't wait to see everyone!

I'm sure just the thought will be stressful to all you early planners... but I pulled the suitcases out last night and I'm waiting for everyone to wake up so the packing can begin. DD has 2 trips to pack for too since we're taking her straight from the ship to science camp. I still have a list of stuff to pick up from the drug store, and I have to finish DD's backpack she's bringing for signatures. Ack! I hope we make it to the Doubletree in time for the meet.

I'm with you. I have a load in the washer and a load in the dryer. Have to pick up a bunch of last minute stuff, plus shoes for the kids, pay all the bills... Hope we can make it tonight! Oh, and it's going to be 88 degrees here in So.Cal. today.

Back home, with mixed feelings. Good to be home, but so much work ahead, and now I have to do all the washing and cleaning. Have to start planning a new cruise so I have something to look forward to. What has everyone else booked for the future? I would have loved to stay onbard for the REPO.

Same here Susieark!! Back home, picked up puppy and have been washing. And yes THANK YOU EVERYONE for the fun and fabulous FE's!!! DD loved the "fun fish loot". We're booked on a late August 2012 on Fantasy (East Carib)... Anyone else booked onboard???
