Those that are leaving their vehicles at the port or at a hotel. Leave your garage door openers at home and make sure your regristration is on you and not left in the vehicle. :thumbsup2

Thank you,
Its supposed to rain on Saturday in Virginia :confused3

It is good luck if it rains on your wedding day :goodvibes

Thanks for the tip Sandy. Our garage door opener is part of our car, so we can't remove it. Did not even think about the registration.

Okay, the SM reveal will be at 4 pm on the last sea day at Promenade Lounge. We only received five votes and it was a tie between that and Secret Area in Deck 7, so I thought it'd be easier for people to find Promenade Lounge.

Safe travels to all who are starting their vacations already. I'm so jealous! Three more days of work and still haven't taken the suitcase out (actually, DH is using one of the suitcases in Orlando...)!

Ok, things are finally falling in place. Just finished all the FE's and have them packed. Finished all my magnets and am almost done with the lanyards. Now I just need to start packing.

Safe travels to all those getting an early start.

Cayla- have you left yet? If not, I need your expertise please regarding luggage tags.

Room # has changed, DCL says to write new # on tag (don't mess w/ barcode). However, the last time I did this the bags ended up in the hall @the wrong room that evening.

What do you suggest???

So, I called up DCL right after we changed rooms. They told me the same thing....cross out room number with sharpie and not touch barcode. I guess that is what I will do.

I am not too worried about the luggage being misplaced. We are checking in late for the cruise. I think that the luggage CMs are less likely to make mistakes toward the end of the day. In the morning check-ins they must deal with the big demand of everyone trying to check-in and everyone checking out. I am sure it is crazy for them.

Can we bring a case of water with us? Will they let us. I don't want to have to buy water while on excursions...etc I know on the other cruises we bought a case on the ship but since we live local I would rather bring one since it is cheaper.

THANKS!

Jill

just caught me - I am wheels up in 17 hrs!

don't use the prepared ones...arrive without any tags, the porters have "temp" tags and will tag the luggage with the correct room number.

You should take the original tags with you in case they don't have them in LA (I have only arrived at LA never sailed from there) - BUT BE SURE TO BLOCK OUT ALL THE BAR CODING AND THE PRINTED ROOM NUMBERS. This will ensure that the person reading them has to actually read the numbers! You can use any permenent (spelling on that one is off I am sure) and black it out completely. I have done this without a problem in Fl. I then write in LARGE clear numbers on a sticker my NEW cabin number and stick it to the tag.

Keep me posted...and see you on Sunday!!
