Diez (10) Noches Calientes en la Riviera Mexicana/17 de abril 2011 (4.17.11 Wonder!)

Yay, Michelle, Kaylee, you really might get hooked on my addiction which is the DVD set called Turbo Fire. It's the same lady that does Turbo Jam. (company is called beachbody, I love their Rockin Body dancing workouts, Hip Hop Abs, etc.)The music is awesome, I  it...totally an addict now. I love Zumba, but the Zumba videos don't compare to classes and alas, with my kid at home and my weird work schedule, etc. a Zumba class is not an option. So, TurboFire is a huge mix of moves, but you dance all the moves so you really stop noticing how hard you are working once you get hooked like crack, I swear. It's the good addiction, ha ha ha. This mix of moves has shaped my body the best so far, kept the parts I want to keep, and lost the jiggle in the areas I need to lose it. You know what I mean. My heaviest was a size 18/215-225lbs in 2007, I've dropped 40-50 lbs once by eating well and exercising a LOT, then gained 20 back after I stopped doing a damn thing. Got a spark in life again in December, now I'm back at 169.5 lbs, size 10-12 with a lot of muscle...Hoo Rah ladies! :cheer2: This is a lifelong battle that I'm going to win, just you watch me! :woohoo:

Kaylee, The rain will cool you down on the walk, it will be a good thing. Have a great time. Great cause! Enjoy. Thanks for spreading the knowledge.

last weekend at work:woohoo:!we are going full cruise mode after the weekend.
i bougth disneyland tickets and the pic.nic packages for the world of colour show,it´s almost there:cool1::cool1:
how is the weather there?

:)
Going to run my first race on Sunday. A short 5K, but it is huge for me. I am so not a runner, but I am trying to force myself to do it. My friends might have to drag me to the finish line. Then after the race to reward myself we will be heading to Six Flags Discovery Kingdom. Hoping to meet up with Kel and family.

Have Fun Kristi!! Good cause, rain or sun, with friends its fun!!

Hello all,

I was just wondering about formal night for the ladies I have been reading that they should have ballgowns will any of you be wearing them?:confused3:confused3:confused3 Thanks

I have done this in the past, pre-DD, now its just nice dresses, DH wears a suite on formals & Palo, its nice to dress up a little bit:).

Very cool!!! I bought Zumba and returned it, I'm way uncoordinated, thats why I run, I only have to use my feet in one direction:) But I've seen Turbo Jam and that one looks fun.. Congrats on your life change and yes its a lifelong battle, but after a while it sort of becomes a way of life ..keep it up your post was inspring.. i love reading about peoples inspriations.. its motivating

I don't do anything on the FB cruise page because my 2 kiddos can see! Since I am still trying to keep this a surprise, I know if I said anything there they would be onto me:scared1: But, I am on FB quite often....but there is something fun about the dis too (I have made amazing friends here from past cruises:love:)
I would be the same way if my kiddos were on fb.:thumbsup2 Too bad the creator of the group wasn't around, she could make the group private so no one could see. However, with JUST 2 WEEKS TO GO (YAY) there's really no point.

Thanks! Going to spread the word on new advances in MS treatments that are amazing! Just wish it wasn't going to rain both days.

And...I really hope to make it to the gym every day but 3 port days...so if anyone wants to drag me along, please do! I am a true Zumba fantatic...absolutely love those classes, or yoga, but otherwise stick to the treadmill and weights.
I have not been brave enough to take an actual class yet so it's just the wii for now.

This is a lifelong battle that I'm going to win, just you watch me! :woohoo:
That is an awesome attitude! I always feel so much better when I am smaller.

ENJOY!:thumbsup2 See you in a couple of weeks.

I typed out this big message last night and hit one wrong key and lost it. Ugh:mad:

Is the person who started our Facebook page on here? I think Stephanie? Wondering because I read on the main boards today that some people prefer Facebook because you are able to have a closed/private group.

Personally, I have met more people on here and have "bonded" here while on fb there are still people who I don't know. So....with that said, do we have a dis meet and a FB meet? Seems like there are some people there that aren't here (and don't plan on visiting here)???

Sorry, some fb people are confusing me.;)
Michelle, Yes there are a lot of people on FB that are not on the DIS. I have a couple of friends on there that never came over here. Since that is an open group anyone who does a search can find it and join. I believe we had a few people who found the FB site and then found us here and joined. I believe that is how we got Virdis:thumbsup2 There are no separate "meets". I like the DIS better because I have a lot to say :rotfl2::rotfl2:

fourmcds
Kristi , See you Sunday at Six Flags Vallejo after your 5k (woot woot!)...lets let our pre-trip jitters out with some hollers on a coaster or two, shall we?! Can't wait to meet your family in person.

Formal dresses YES, not gown length, I'm going to town as far as I go; low heels and showing a little leg. "Woo Woooooo" my 4-year old would say. Formal night & Captains Gala (semi) and Palo.

Remember, if anyone wants to join me in the GYM, let's keep each other motivated. I'll see you there! I don't know what classes they will offer, but I'll give anything a whirl

Yay, Kel can't wait to meet you guys tomorrow. We love coasters. My son, Danny, is a speed demon. However, he gets bummed out when he is not tall enough for a ride. He is a small fry. I keep telling him he needs to eat more veggies so he can grow to ride the big ones.

I am planning to hit the gym on the ship at least the 5 sea days. I am not much for yoga, but I do like anything cardio. Lets motivate each other.

I admit, I am bringing a floor length gown princess: I don't dress up much at home, actually I am a slob. I love dressing up on a cruise. I have a nice gown that I bought for a cruise in 2001 that I only break out for cruising. I don't ever have occasions to dress up anymore, so I enjoy doing so on formal night. My boys have cute little tuxedos and my DH has a nice suit.

I am curious, what do your friends say about your online friends? When I tell my "real life" friends about my message boards, FE's, and meeting you guys, they think I am crazy. I laugh and tell them I have a lot of cyber friends. I have always been big into message boards. In 1996 I started on AOL and was a member of some chat rooms. I met some of those friends at restaurants in Los Angeles and New York. I have always enjoyed meeting new friends online. I miss the old days of chat rooms when you could talk in real time.

Hope everyone has a nice weekend. :grouphug:

The sun actually came out for the walk this am! Spread the word as best I can, but tomorrow is the big day. Komo and King5 will both be there to give us some great PR..... :cool1:

I did P90x (same company)...made it through 62 days and then i got sick and haven't gone back. Kept saying I was going to restart and finish right before the cruise but never did. The woman who does the infomercial for turbo fire (bridget) is a friend of mine. I really want to get insanity ... that is the new one I want to do, but hip hop abs is pretty fun too. I just get bored too easily.

The first time (3 years ago) that I told dh I had friends "online" he thought I was crazy. UNTIL I made him go with me to Atlanta to meet 8 other women who I met on a pregnancy board and we all were pregnant at the same time. All of our little ones were the same age and we scheduled a weekend meet up...IT WAS A BLAST. Now, he just kinda shakes his head at me.:rotfl:

I have thought about doing the P90x but it looks so hard!

I keep having to catch my self from using Dh and DS DD things like that in real life lol

WOW! Big month for you. Which are you the most excited about? Why did you choose a Disney cruise for your honeymoon?:lovestruc

If my Fiance is asking, the wedding???

We chose a Disney cruise for many reasons. My family and I are huge Disney fans. I got my Fiance loving Disney too, and we love to cruise. Also, I proposed to her at Disneyland. Here is the video;

Thought about you guys meeting up tomorrow when we pasted the park this morning, last minute road trip, very very long day. :upsidedow Didn't even know there was a park there till you guys mentioned it the other day. Have a great time tomorrow, ride a few coasters for me! :goodvibes

Hello all,

I was just wondering about formal night for the ladies I have been reading that they should have ballgowns will any of you be wearing them?:confused3:confused3:confused3 Thanks

I'll be wearing a floor length gown. DH's Christmas parties are very formal so now I'm excited that I can get a second use for my dresses. DH bought a tux last year so all I needed was the boys. Just got their formal wear today.

I have thought about doing the P90x but it looks so hard!

DH and did P90x last year and I think I lasted about 3 weeks. This time I'm trying for something more lasting. Walking seems to be the best for me although I've been motivated with the cruise and have been hitting the gym the last 2 weeks.

If my Fiance is asking, the wedding???

We chose a Disney cruise for many reasons. My family and I are huge Disney fans. I got my Fiance loving Disney too, and we love to cruise. Also, I proposed to her at Disneyland.
Thank you very much.

Thanks for sharing the video. It was really cute! Congratulations on the upcoming nuptuals!!!

p.s gradysmommy on Ebay promised she would mail my FE today, get it to me by Monday!!!

I plan to bring one 'long' dress, but it's more of a maxi than a gown - everything else is knee length. Putting on a pair of heels aways makes me feel dressed up!
I'll join you in the gym, and on the deck walk - that sounds like great way to start the day (and to help me feel a little better about the meals I plan to eat! (oh, and the dancing might help too)

That's so admirable - maybe you can be our personal trainer in the gym? :thumbsup2

Soo exciting :goodvibes

I am planning to hit the gym on the ship at least the 5 sea days. I am not much for yoga, but I do like anything cardio. Lets motivate each other.

My boys have cute little tuxedos

(I'm with you re:gym)
How gorgeous Kristi - can't wait to see your little guys in their tuxs - adorable :)

Daylight savings ended here last night - that usually means the end of the warm weather is close  Happy that we're extending it for a few weeks.
My kids only have 5 days left of school before they break so that makes it even seem closer for us :scared1: I guess I had better start packing this week!
We're not staying at the DT sadly  so we wont be at the meet the day before - but we are going early to the port (lucky I checked in online a while back and got an early time)
