I was just wondering about formal night for the ladies I have been reading that they should have ballgowns will any of you be wearing them? Thanks

We don't mind! We are actually scheduled to deliver on the 25th as well, so folks will be getting our FEs that day, as well as one other.

Good question?! I know we're going to try to upgrade at the port as is Kaylee (fourmcds). What if people miss the meet? Wow, this does get complicated doesn't it! I wanna upgrade but I want our FE goodies too, lol!

I think what I will do, for those that do not come to the meet to get the cabin # changes, I will just call their rooms and leave a message about the changes. I will definitely get the word out. I am sure this happens every cruise and it works out fine.

All FE Participants,

If you upgrade at the port, let me know ASAP once you do so, so I can update my list. If you are trying for an upgrade, PM me so I can send you my cell number--just call or text me the new cabin number and your screen name.

At the first meet at 3pm at the Promenade Lounge, I will announce all the changes. I will then call the staterooms of those who did not make it and leave a message with any changes. I guess I will have to take Roll Call at the meet to see who is missing

I will also be in the port near the kids club check in desk with some lime green Mickey heads taped to chairs until boarding. I hope to be in an early boarding group, so no telling how long I will be there.

If anyone can think of a better system, please let me know.

Since my personal stylist, makeup artist and hairdresser will be staying home on this cruise my ballgowns will have to stay with them! (In my dreams.)

I'm bringing two cocktail type dresses - a little black one and a black and white print one. That's it, call it a day.

Going to run my first race on Sunday. A short 5K, but it is huge for me. I am so not a runner, but I am trying to force myself to do it. My friends might have to drag me to the finish line. Then after the race to reward myself we will be heading to Six Flags Discovery Kingdom. Hoping to meet up with Kel and family.

Ballgown no, long dress yes (nothing fancy). Dh wears a suit to work everyday and it is a hassle at times to get him into a suite for vacation but it has been done. So if he's in a suit and I'm in a nice dress that's formal enough for us.

Have a great camping weekend Connie. Really wish we could go this weekend too, but we have too many other commitments. Went to Tahoe yesterday with a friend to take the boys sledding and snow boarding. It was hot and I was just in short sleeves, but there was to much snow!! I was sinking up to my waist to take the boys out. I have never seen so much snow up there. Might try again after the cruise when some of the snow melts. Love living an hour from Tahoe. We can do quick trips up there after school.

Not a ballgown but a very nice black coctail dress with ruffles. I originally bought it to wear New Year's Eve for a dinner and ballroom dance. My DH will be in his tux.

Oh, how I envy you people who live so close! We used to live in LA, but have now moved to Michigan, which requires the purchase of 4 plane tickets to supply our family with any sort of Disney fix. That's just one more reason why I'm SO EXCITED about this cruise -- 10 whole days of Disney (and no parkas needed)!!!

Good grief....no....Disney is the most laid back of cruise lines....I have never seen a ball gown on the ship except for the princesses!!! Even floor length dresses are rare. Most ladies use a LBD and let it go at that.

you could post a copy of the final list on your door...that always seems to help. If you are planning to upgarde I will volunteer my door. I really don't see an upgrade in my future on this trip...solo makes them very expensive!

Pre-Trip jitters?!
So, had this dream last night....somehow I didn't print out the documents I needed to check in. So, I frantically was running around the port while my family and Lisa's (liserann) boarded right after the family of the day. They still wouldn't let me get on (really, no one in my family should have but the CM told me it was punishment for not being prepared) and I sat in the terminal watching the ship leave!!!! It was the worst dream ever!!!! Woke up, picked up my cell phone and punched in "print documents" on my 4/15 date!!!! Anyone else having panic attacks or am I the only true geek?!

I am hoping to upgrade (fingers are crossed!!!) so I will send you my cell number.
And, I am fine with FE gifts delivered on different days!

Off to walk in the rain the next 2 days for our local MS walks. Hopefully I will dry out by 4/17. So ready for sunshine and some warmth...have the fire roaring today to stay warm.

Formal dresses YES, not gown length, I'm going to town as far as I go; low heels and showing a little leg. "Woo Woooooo" my 4-year old would say. Formal night & Captains Gala (semi) and Palo.

Personally, I have met more people on here and have "bonded" here while on fb there are still people who I don't know. So....with that said, do we have a dis meet and a FB meet? Seems like there are some people there that aren't here (and don't plan on visiting here)???

Thanks! Going to spread the word on new advances in MS treatments that are amazing! Just wish it wasn't going to rain both days.

And...I really hope to make it to the gym every day but 3 port days...so if anyone wants to drag me along, please do! I am a true Zumba fantatic...absolutely love those classes, or yoga, but otherwise stick to the treadmill and weights.
