I forgot to say this earlier- my sister and i always take out pics there! every trip :)

Oh my goodness, I didn't even realize you had a tr!! But I'm here!! Everything looks so fabulous!! I love how your brothers "wishes" both came true!! I hope yours did too!!

Thanks for coming:goodvibes
I really didn't have a "Disney Wish", just going there was my wish!
Although, that night that we were there I was freezing, so I told my mom that my 'wish' was for her to buy me another sweatshirt. Didn't happen, but at least I tried(;

I forgot to say this earlier- my sister and i always take out pics there! every trip :)

Cool!
I forgot to mention in my post that, the reason I'm giving DB10 "bunny ears" in that pic is because I 'called' having my pic taken with that thing first, but somehow DB10 slipped infront of me and got there first. Which, irritated me, so I did the only thing I could do to get back at him:laughing:

Sunday, February 21st
Magic Kingdom

We woke up at around 9 am
This was our last day, but we were going to spend it fully!

Both DB's had seen some bikes yesterday, and we're dieing to do it! So, my dad took them to do that while my mom and I went to MK for some shopping.

I don't have any pics of the boys riding bikes, because I had the camera with me, oh well!

So, my mom and I went to the bus stop, and waited. And waited. And waited. And waited. And waited. While we were waiting, I people watched (something I tend to do a lot :rolleyes1). There was a family with kids climbing ALL OVER THE PLACE. On top of the drink machine, the water fountains, and the cement wall.

Anyways, back to waiting. It seemed like every bus but MK's was coming. AK came twice, HWS came once, DTD came once, and EPCOT came twice. I told my mom that if the EPCOT bus came back before the MK one, we should just get on that and take the monorail to MK. Luckily, we didn't have to do that and the MK bus came within the next two or three minutes.

So much for good bus luck! Oh well!

We got through the turnstiles without any issues, and started walking down Main Street!

We first went into the Emporium. My mom needed to find a Bolt dog, a friend had asked her to get one for her son. Problem was, there were no Bolt stuffed animals among the hundreds of other stuffed animals!

I left my mom for a moment to go find a journal to use for my TR's, I found the perfect one, a blue and green mickey mouse one! I can't find any pics of it now, but I know I have some on my PTR if you want to see it (link in siggy).

I gave the journal to my mom and she went to check out. She bought it and a 2010 ornament for our Disney Christmas tree! While we were checking out, my mom asked the nice CM behind the counter if they had any Bult dogs, the CM hadn't seen that movie, so she really didn't know any details about it. Unfortunatly, we hadn't seen the movie either, so we weren't 100% sure about Bolt. All we knew was he was a little white dog with a lighting bolt on his side.

So, the CM called over another CM, who went to the back room and found...
the last Bolt dog in stock! Thank goodness!

My mom bought him, and while she was paying, these ladies came out:
Disney001.jpg

One of them said "Ladies, I feel like going out and singing very loudly on the street!" so, the rest of them followed! They were too funny, they had to keep coming back into the Emporium to fix their hair and makeup infront of the tiny mirror

While in the emporium, I was taunted by these:
Disney002.jpg

I'm a total sucker for the tiny sphere-ical stuffed animals!

Maybe next time, guys!

So, we continued shopping! While in a tiny story these guys appeared!
Disney004.jpg

These guys are amazing, and the boys were bummed that they missed them(;

We went into another store, and within seconds, there the they were, singing in that store. It was pretty awesome(:

After some shopping, we went to ride... TTA
Disney005.jpg

After words, I decided we needed some ice cream!
On our way:
Disney006.jpg

The soft-served icecream:
Disney007.jpg

Disney has the best ice cream. Ever. I'm craving it right now!

We walked by the catsle, and they had the show going on!
Some pics from the show:

The show was getting a tad on the boring side, so, we left(;

Along our way to It's a Small World, we noticed something fishy going on with the castle... but, you'll have to wait to find out what exactly was "fake" about it!

I haven't seen one of the shows in front of the castle in a long time. I use to love those but some times they do seem a little long and I am usually stuck in the crowd.

I love there ice cream also. We went to MK in December for one day but it was way to cold to get ice cream.

I agree, they are on the long side. And that's when everyone comes and forms a massive crowd!

The ice cream is really good, when we got it for this trip, it wasn't that cold out (yet) so it was good(:

ice cream looks yummy!

It tasted yummy too!

ITA! disneys icecream is the BEST!

shopping on main street is always the best:goodvibes

It is(:

Who doesn't love shopping on Main Street?

That's pretty cool

How lucky on the Bolt stuffed toy...you probably would have had to look at DHS for him. It is a cute movie, just not a classic. I have not seen that show since 2001; unless we get a really really good view I doubt if we stop for it this year either. Oh! my that ice cream looks delish...I have been very good about watching what I eat now I need to just look and dream about you ic--:lmao:

cool update!!

Thanks(:
Me too!

We lucked out on finding him, I would've hated going on a wild search looking for him! I'll have to watch it sometime.

We've never seen the show, normally it's super crowded, so we just walk by. But, it had just started when we got there and we had a pretty good view of the show, until people started pushing their way up front.

 hehe(:

I last left you off with my mom and I leaving the Castle show, heading to Fantasyland. This is where we found the "fake" part of the castle:

After IASM my dad called us on my cell phone, he told us that they were in MK, by the Haunted Mansion. So, we walked over that way to meet them.

After riding HM, we decided it was time for some lunch at...
Disney029.jpg

Columbia Harbour House!

My parents went into line to order the food while the boys and I went to find a table.

We went to the second floor, and found this table all reserved and roped off:
Disney030.jpg

I'm jealous of the people who get to sit there!

Our table:

Eh. I didn't like it. Too far away from everything! Off we went to find a new table!

Finally, my parents arrived with the food:
Disney039.jpg

DB10 had the fish sticks

Disney040.jpg

DB12 had the fried shrimp

Disney041.jpg

My parents both had the kids salad

I had the chicken salad

Everyone loved their lunch, and DB12's fried shrimp were really good!

On our way out of the restaurant, we saw some people sitting at the fancy reserved table! Lucky them!

Once we got out, we were trying to decide where to go next. DB's and my mom went to ride Big Thunder Mt. Railroad. My dad and I decided to go on a Monorail/Hotel adventure! That's right, we planned on taking the monorail around to each of the three hotels on the line, and taking a while to explore them all!

You'll have to wait for that adventure though!

I've been checking out trip reports this evening and happened upon yours, Sara.

I love it! Very simple and easy to follow. The wrap from Cosmic Rays looks so good, I might have to try that when we go.

Looking forward to another update!

It's not MK without going on IASW. My kids don't like it any more, oh well.

Did I see that right? A 10 minute wait for HM. I don't think I have ever seen that.

I plan on eating in CHH this trip as I haven't eaten in there in years.

Can't wait to find out about your exploring the resorts. I love doing that.

Welcome! I'm glad you like it! I try to make it simple, because I know it's easier for me, and probably for the people reading it(:

I've tried it before, it is very good

It's normally a five minute wait when we go, sometimes a ten minute wait. But, when we went on it that time, it ended up only being a five minute wait to get on the actual ride.

Me too, that was probably my favorite part of the trip, and I took loads of pictures of the resorts(:

Contemporary Resort

My dad and I hoped onto the Resort monorail
Disney044.jpg

To arrive at our first destination- the Contemporary Resort. Which, was our first of the three monorail resorts we stayed at, oddly enough.

We got off the monorail and took a look around. My dad let me lead the way, I got to pick where we went!

First stop: seeing our old room
Disney045.jpg

(second one from the right, first floor)

And a few shots with Mickey:

Disney047.jpg

We walked around the pool, they added a little fountain play area since we last stayed there, which was pretty cool.

We didn't spend much time at the CR, soon we were back inside.
Disney048.jpg

Disney049.jpg

We got back up to the monorail station and waited for the next one to come. Soon, we were back on and heading to the Poly<3

Next update: Aloha! Welcome to the Polynesian!
