I love to plan things and usually plan to go out every weekend. I really did not want to stay in tonight and DH was happy just to stay in and watch Deal or no Deal, so have persuaded him to come out to the Indian so long as I pay!!!

I have told DD not to order starters or afters. Just a joke!!! Also I have already drunk quite a bit so may cut down while out!!!

Hope you all have a good weekend.

I know what you mean ~ I hate staying over the weekend too. Hope you have a lovely meal. We are off out to a Mongolian restaurant tonight, first time we have tried it but the food looks amazing.

Have a fab time :goodvibes

Well have a nice time! :cool1:

I work 5/6 nights a week so a like to stay in for a rest. Wish i had a 9-5 job a again.

I think DH feels the same way as he always feels tired and wants to stay in after a hard week at work. I feel the other way as I work all week staying in weeknights I just have to do something different at the weekend. I had not planned anything for this weekend as we are off to Amsterdam on Thursday but now that it is here I have to go. I think I need help!!

snap, I am just about to go get ready to go out to an indian, to celebrate dbf finally paying for the car hire in the usa lol, (he doesnt believe in giving money till its due where as i pay up frount)

I get my rest days during the week normally i'm on 5 week rolling rota, so this and next weekend is my only weekends off. other than that i work 4-midnight.

DH works mon-fri 8-4, then i go off to work, so i tend to like sitting on the sofa like a potatoe :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I need to get out more, LOL

What do you do Princess? I am not surprised you are tired, espeically with a little one. My DD is 12 and is so easy now. The only problem I have with her is that she wants to go on the teen dis board while I want to go on this one!!!!

Hi,
I know this is slightly off topic, but have any of you found a decent Indian out in the Orlando area, I am a great fan of curries, but Indian restaurants IMO dont seem to be as popular as they are at home. I tried one in Toronto which was ok but I for one enjoy reasonably hot (NOT PHAL HOT!!) and this was not catered for. We are going for two weeks end of April amd it would be nice to add one to our dining itinery
Any help is always grateful, thanks:)

Apparently one is coming to Animal Kingdom. But not for a couple of years though!

Hope it is worth the wait.

The last time we were there we ate at Memories of India on Turkey Lake Road. The food was fantastic and the service was second to none.

I think the reason Indian restaurants are less popular is because of the heat and the large availability of seafood/steaks in the area. As a curry lover I was looking forward to trying the restaurant. Although the restaurant was air conditioned I was unable to eat as much as I would have in the UK. That being said if you are a fan of curry I would certainly recommend this restaurant.
