Didn't love the HS frozen sing a long. What did you think?

I liked it personally. I thought I would hate it. I like that it's a retelling of the story by narrators who have nothing to do with the movie and the appearances of the princesses are shorter. I guess I knew enough not to expect a full reenactment of the film but something like a "Frozen party" with singing by the audience and not the characters so much. But our Kristoff had a delivery style colder than Olaf's keister, he could warm up a bit.

Also like that there was some humor for the adults in it. The kind that the kids don't really get but the adults do.

I thought it was cute, but we saw it once and that was enough. The only thing we really didn't like was they didn't include the song the trolls sing.

Wife and I enjoyed the humor from the new historians, but our daughters enjoyed the sing a long, though those were just clips from the movie

Does anyone know where they will seat you with(or even w/o), a FP if you have someone in an ECV in your party? TIA!

It's going to depend on when you get inside, so having the FP will help. There were some spaces down front, which obviously the FP folks get first crack at, and there are more spaces in the back. When we went the FP folks didn't fill up at the ECV spaces, so when the general admission started a few more ECV's were put up front, the rest in the back.

Of course, even with a FP it will depend on whether there are too many ECV's in front of you with FP.

I. Out of curiosity, for those that have gotten the FP+ for the show, where exactly are you seated? Is it in a good viewing area?

In addition to the other answer you got that thefirst 7 or 8 rows in the center are roped off for the Premium Frozen package people so the best you could get with a FP is one of the sides or the middle area about 9 rows back, and that the closer you are to the front of the FP line, the better your seats, I would also advise that even if you aren't worried about being at the front of the FP line, you want to be there BEFORE they let the stand by line in. We were in the standby line, and I want to say we got let in about 15 minutes before the show started. After the line opened for standby people with FPs continued to show up and they got the left over seats. Also, we observed that the theatre was full and people were still showing up with FPs about 5 minutes before the show started. Those people were let in because they had a FP, but they all wound up standing along the left side (if you are facing the stage) the entire 30 minute show as there were no seats left.

I guess I'm in the minority....I didn't really enjoy it. I don't regret going, but I don't see doing it again. I knew from reading here that the sister's weren't big stars in it, and that was ok....I'm not a huge fan of the movie as much as I love the music.

But I found the narrators jokes to be a bit out of place....I don't want to say "offensive" but just not really appropriate for a show that was obviously aimed at young children. I'm sure most of it went over their heads, but....really, Disney couldn't come up with better narrative that was perhaps more about the movie/story/music?

And with that in mind....did the male narrator remind you of the actor that played Pete on Warehouse 13?

Don't know, they have different actors so we may not have seen the same one...even so, I don't know what Warehouse 13 is. I did appreciate the humor but I don't have any kids and prefer not to have everything at WDW aimed at kids all the time.

From the youtube video I saw of it, it looks like it's along the lines of the shows at the Royal Theater in Disneyland, except with some singing thrown in and on a bigger stage. If that's the case, my two princess loving daughters are going to love it!

We enjoy the show and my son is probably their #1 fan. Since July we've gone about once or twice a week, though skipping some weeks.

I love how each historian brings their own twist to the show. There is room for improv and some take full advantage of that, so it's never the exact same show twice.

It depends, if you can transfer you may be seated on the side. If you can't transfer, you will either be directed to the 1st row or last row. I noticed recently that they seem to be putting ECV who can't transfer to the back (I assume so the view of those behind them aren't blocked) and putting kids in w/c in the front.

The historians have room for improvisation. Some seem to take it to the limits. My son now knows what spanx are. I love the improvisation, as mentioned above, because each show is a bit different.

There are so many different historians. I've recognized a few from other roles around WDW.

We went to the show today and I have to say we absolutely LOVED it!! I almost skipped it because there was a downpour and apparently the theater was leaking, so they weren't sure the show would happen. And I had heard about so many Disers not liking it, But we stood in line and I'm so glad we stayed! I could not believe that anyone would not like this show! If u like Frozen in any capacity, how could u not like this show? It was funny for the adults and the kids were all amused! My dtr loved the snow at the end! Don't skip it, go see it!! Just forewarn your kids that Elsa will not be out until the very end.
