Would I be given a chance to audition during the CP? I really wished I had the chance to audition, but the audition dates and locations were not good for me when it happened

No, unfortunately. The only time you would be able to audition would be the extension audition (if you wanted to extend the CP).

Actually my DD is a CP right now and she and some of her roommates did audition about a month into their program. I don't really know any of the details, but I'm guessing it was sort of an open audition?

None of them passed the audition and she said that out of groups of about 40, they only passed about 4 or 5 in each, so they're being really choosy right now.

The contracts under which Florida-Site Disney Internships and Programs Participants are employed expressly prohibit auditioning and transferring into Entertainment roles under most normal circumstances.

However, In some cases, as may have happened here, the Company will allow Participants to attend auditions due to extraordinary labour demands. These situations are few and far, far between.

You can also attend the same End-of-Program Audition if you are interested in applying for a Casual Temporary position with the Company after the completion of your Program.
