and if so, how much is proper? 20%, 10%, whatever you feel like?
i want to be grateful and generous but i am a little broke now (aren't we all?!) but I don't want to insult her either.
if my gown was $300 to alter...
do you think a $40 tip is ok? or should it be $50? or $70?
also, should i tip the girl who just helped me try it on -- but didn't do any of the alterations work?
