I wouldn't say a jerk - but I didn't know it was her dh at first - just figured it was a good friend/coach until the kiss & then the announcer said it was her dh.

after she won, the first one I believe, they showed her crying in his arms and he was saying all kinds of sweet and supportive things and telling her she deserves it, etc. It was such a close, personal, and sweet moment it felt like we shouldn't have been listening in actually.

That is how I felt too. I also got the impression that this was pretty uncharacteristic behaviour for her and maybe he was just surprised and didn't know how to react.

She is a real drama queen, I can only imagine how it must be to deal with her day in and day out. I am reminded very much of Gennice from "The Understudy" episode of Seinfeld.

Maybe Lindsay's hot dog fell on the ground right before she went down

She is a total drama queen. I feel kind of bad for him because I'm sure it's hard playing second fiddle to a drama queen "superstar" all. the. time.

Ok, she won GOLD--YEAH!!!!! (GO USA!!!) She carried on more than usual-her husband didn't act too overjoyed-yes it may have been a private moment but when you are an Olympic in the spotlight-NOTHING is private. I know I wouldn't want to be the 2nd to last competitor in the top spot watching the last one fall-knowing my reaction was televised.....
