I thought that Finding Nemo was EXCELLENT!!! The graphics, the fin movements, & OH, the ACTION! It wasn't boring, y'all!! And personally, I don't remember crying at a Disney/Pixar film since Jessie's Lament in Toy Story 2 ("When She Loved Me")!!!! Money WELL SPENT!! Now, all I have to do now is get the soundtrack, 'cause the music was just beautiful.... ;-)

The Trailers:
THE INCREDIBLES - this trailer is FUNNY, folks! I don't know who is doing the voice, but somebody give him a raise! I think we're in for a great time!

FREAKY FRIDAY - Uh, maybe its just me, but this movie has been done over 2x in my lifetime; now its going to be a 3rd! Unfortunately, my heart wasn't into this 1...

KNICK KNACK - Ok, I know its not a trailer, its a Pixar short movie, but it sure is lovely! Plus, if anyone knows jazz music, listening to Bobby McFerrin strut his musical self gives me "goodie goose bumps!" (sorry, that's a family term :D ) Very nicely done!

What did you all think?? :)

My twins are havng their 7th birthday tomorrow and we are atking them to the drive -in to see this movie. I will let you know what I think tomorrow :)

My company is one of the sponsor of this movie and we have received passes to go see it in the morning. I can't wait! Will let you know what we thought tomorrow afternoon!:D

Just got back!! It was wonderful!! Loved it all! I wouldn't even mind seeing it again :)

And the Pixar short was so cute :teeth:

And I sat in a theater filled with preschoolers  (me and my 20yo DD ;) ) and it was quiet until the end. They were so engrossed :)

Since today was the last day of school and DS was out at 12:00, we went out for lunch and then went on to see the movie. We both liked it a lot! The trailers were too funny. I'm ready to go buy the CD for the music also. It was worth the money. ;)

Anybody else? Anybody? Anybody? Anybody?? :D

This looks like it will be so cute! Can't wait to see it!!!:teeth:

I saw it last week at a DC free sneak preview. There were a ton of kids, and they laughed a lot. They also talked a lot.........:( , I loved the Pixar short, too. As far as Nemo, I liked the animation in Monsters better, but this one was pretty good. And I think Freaky Friday has been done at least 6 times, or at least it seems that way. I predict straight to video for the latest version.

If you can get to see it, do it with the kids, they will love it. I'll see it again on DVD.

DH and I tried to see it at 2:30 today, but it was sold out! We bought tickets for the later 4:30 show. :)

It was a really cute movie! The beginning really surprised me...never heard about that part of it. Made me almost cry...had to concentrate on not crying so DH wouldn't make fun of me!

The next pixar movie looks really funny! LOL!

And loved the short...that was really funny. Poor little snowman.

This movie is great. I am so happy I got to see it. The theater was packed and when we left there was a line around the building waiting to get in. The storyline is great, the graphics are amazing. This movie is a real treat. I rate it ten fins. :) I heard people in the theater when it was over saying it was much better then Toy Story. Everybody was impressed. Including me.

If you have questions ask. I will answer them ASAP.

Fish our are friends not food.

DS and I loved Nemo! I thought that Ellen was particularly good and the story was super. That short was hilarious too, poor guy. :p

As for trailers, we thought that the next Pixar movie looked good and the 3-d Spykids was proclaimed as "COOL" by several kids around us and DS too. I personally (zipping up flame suit just in case ;) ) thought that the Sinbad movie looked interesting.

We bought the book 2 weeks ago-very informative! I think I will wait a week or so to see the movie until the crowds die down a little! This is soooo right up DD's alley!!

I loved the colors! We just saw it tonight and it was very good.

I don't want to spoil anything...... but...... I'm sure everybody knows that Nemo is missing ....... and that's the main plot......
Well, his dad is looking for him and it struck a nerve with DD. I noticed that she kept kissing and stroking her baby as she slept during the movie. The movie was stroung enough to pull protective, motherly emotions out of my DD. Not all animated films carry that kind of weight.

I really liked Finding Nemo. Pixar has done it again.

The trailers were great too. My kids really want to see Spy Kids 3-D and Sinbad now. I'm most excited about Brad Bird's newest one where the middle-aged superhero is trying to get his utility belt on, I think it's called Captain Fantastic. He's the guy that did Iron Giant and I LOVE that movie. I hope this one is as good.

DD just returned from seeing it with her friends. They are here downstairs and have not stopped talking about it. They all loved it. Luckily they bought their tickets ahead of time. Said their show was sold out when they arrived. Earplugs now in. No spoilers!!! LOL We are going tomorrow.:)

Not to spoil it either,

GO SEE THIS MOVIE!!!!!!!!!!

I personally think this is the best film Pixar has put out to date. Leaves the other three they have done in the dust. Not to say TS, TS2 and Monsters were bad, far from it, they were excellent! The plain fact is you forget all about computer animation in the first minute of this film.

They have really come so far, and the showing of Knick Knack beforehand really shows that fact up alone.

BTW, if you hunt around a bit, you might find the videotape of Pixar shorts. I bought it long ago, before they were associated with Disney. It has the original Lamp one that the Pixar logo now uses, Knick Knack and a number of other short gems they made back then.

I do leave you with one piece of advice: Be on the lookout for injokes, right from the beginning of the film!

Go, see it, you will be amazed. You have seen a very teeny tiny bit of the movie in the commercials/trailers.

Just got home from seeing this soldout show. It was wonderful!! It has a great storyline. Very innovative, I actually felt like the writer saw things from a fish perspective. Very smooth graphics, very believable, seemed like true underwater shots.
Disney/Pixar have a true smash hit on their hands. There were more teens and adults than kids at this show, cause they are the paying folks. Thats a good sign.
Im looking forward to seeing it again, I will wait til the crowds thin some first.

Well my DH (MarkRG) has already chimed in, but I will add my 2 cents - this is a great movie!

I thought every one of the voice actors were well chosen and fit their characters perfectly!

The animation was fantastic! Lots of funny little bits and in jokes (some I missed but Mark caught so we'll have to go again).

Some definately teary moments.

By all means go see it! Oh, and don't rush out of the theatre...stay and watch all the credits (especially if you like Monsters Inc.). :)

I am posting to second WDWLVR about staying all the way through the credits.....funny funny stuff.

The movie is amazing!!!! The previews were great...we didn't see anything about Spy Kids but we saw one about an Eskimo turning into a bear. Anyone else see this one?

Excellent movie! I took 2 older DD's to see and they both thought it was awesome. WILL go to see it again and is a Must have for your video/DVD collection. It's so nice to be able to go out with the family for a decent movie for a change. People DO want this type of entertainment and will pay for it. Hint, Hint!
