Did you like your stay onsite with your dog?

I've looked at the maps for the pet friendly areas for pet relief. Are you okay with the locations? For example, how was the bus service to the parks? I just get the feeling the dog rooms may be way out of the way.

Did you feel you had a big enough area to walk your dog?

Would you stay again? Was it worth the extra charge?

Did you get your own towels or did you schedule housekeeping to come? How did that all go?

We are DVC members and no DVC resorts accept pets. So we booked our dog at Best Friends last month for our five night trip. It was pretty nice and she seems happy with her stay. So if you are worried about keeping your pet with you, you might check out Best Friends.

I don't think you can take dogs on the buses at all. Unless it is a service animal.

I wish you luck. I don’t take my dogs. I live on the west coast. So I can’t say I’ve noticed what areas they have. It may help with responses if you say what resort you’re thinking of staying at.
I believe you can phone housekeeping and let them know what you are needing and they’ll leave towels etc on your door.

I'll probably be at Art of Animation. With bus travel I understand service animals only. I'm referring to the room location and the bus service for the dog friendly room areas for travel time, etc.

No idea about AoA but I've stayed at YC where they allow dogs. Not with my dog since he's much happier at home but saw there that dog rooms are intermingled with all the others. I could tell by the sign on the door that a dog was in the room. There's no "longer walks to buses" from a dog allowed room since they were all over. I also saw the dog walk area, right by the quiet pool.
