It is acknowledged by our children's school, too. It's listed on the calendar and the children are encouraged to wear Mickey apparel today. My dd's wearing her princess minnie ears, and my ds is wearing his Sorcerer Mickey hat and his Incredibles tshirt. I'm not sure if they are doing anything else at school.
