Did you just plan a trip?

For the closing of Millionaire???

I know there is one other DISer that has planned a trip just to be at Millionaire like our family did....but I was wondering is there any other WWTBAMPI crazies out there that didn't have a trip on the books and booked a trip in the last few weeks since the closing announcement came out?

I wish I could afford it right now or I could convince my parents to take me! Otherwise I'd totally be there. My life's goal was to get in that hot seat (i've made it up to #2 twice!) but I guess I'll have to come up with another life's goal now

We already had a trip planned, thank Goodness....I think I would have had to plan one otherwise!!!

We are going to try to be there that last day...not that there's a chance in the hot seat if the Zurgs are going to be there!!!!

We did. I pushed my dates up so we could be there for the shows on the 19th.
I'm going to miss this attraction. It is one of our faves!

I did not book a trip to be a part of Millionaire one more time. However, I did want to do this again during our next trip. We decided to try it for the first time in December of 2005 and to my surprise, I made it into the Hot Seat. I did ok, but was embarrassed that I blew it on a question related to what I do for a living. The audience let me down. Oh well, at least I have a hat, a lanyard, and some pins to ease my pain. OMG I am soooo out of the loop, when is it closing? I cannot belive that, I have always wanted to do Millionaire and my mom and dad are coming down this fall and LOVE that show, so I knew they'd enjoy it, I am so disappointed its leaving. Please tell me its not before our trip!

My family & I happen to be going home the day Millionaire is closing (August 19th), however it's just a coincidence that it's closing the day we leave as we had made our reservation for the Contemporary back in February. I would like to see Millionaire one last time & to see if someone from my family can make it into the hot seat.

Also since were on the topic about Millionaire closing, my Dad asked me something about it. Let's say for example it's the very last show of the day, what if person in the hot seat is up to the 1,000,000 point & the horn goes off saying the game is over. Does the host say sorry time is up, or since it's their last show they can go on with the 1,000,000 point question?

My guess is last show they would continue. Everything is timed any way so it would only be a set amount of time they would go over.

Since Millionaire is one of my favorite attractions I definitely booked one last trip the week is closes so I could be among the last to see the attraction. I love Millionaire and it is an ultimate goal of mine to make it into the hot seat. I've been incredibly close in the past so I'm giving it on last go.
