Did you get an advance call from Concierge?

We are set to check-in on Sunday :bounce: :bounce: to AKL Concierge, and since I have seen others mention that they received an advance call from Concierge, I was wondering if I should expect one?

Have you ever had ressies for Concierge and not gotten a call? How far in advance did you get the call if they did call? What all did they ask/say? If they don't call is that a problem?

I have not stayed AKL concierge, but I have done the GF's. Our first trip we got a call at about 45 days out, but since then I've usually called them myself at 60 days to help make priority seating arrangements. From what I've seen on the DIS, the AKL concierge staff is usually right on top of calling their guests. If you haven't heard from them yet, I'd suggest you call the lodge and ask for the pre-planning department. They also have an e-mail address, but I don't know it off the top of my head. Pre-planners can help you with reservations and there are sometimes things available only to concierge guests, like the Sunrise or Sunset Safari.
